Hopefully there is "One Place" in Manhattan where a Good Stripper can do his thing! But unfortunately, I don't think anybody is going to be showing the "Equipment" anytime soon, Soft or Hard.. Hope Foxy has an Opportunity to find that place though! Since the Opening, nobody has really had anything to say one way or the other about LaFleur's? I consider myself a LeFleuridian as I go as often as I can...which is not all the time but I do go. It's a small bar but after a while everyone knows everyone AND the staff watches out for you, which I really apprcicate a great deal.

 

They have reopened for business seven days a week. I've never been there on Monday but I believe it's strictly a bar on Monday, no dancers. They have dancers the rest of the week. On Saturday night they usually have a drag queen or two perform along with the men on stage. This past Saturday a tall drag named Brenda did a few numbers and she was good. The other drag was a hard HARD looking woman; I didn't watch the show because she didn't know what to do on stage when she wasn't singing. Also, I think she bought her gown 20 years ago when it fit because it doesn't fit now...you could see her tip money sliding down her body inside her dress. Also, there was this loud fat queen named Nobi who just needs to quit. She's so damn obnoxious that you just wanna yell in her face YOU'RE A MAN!!!!!!! because that would wreck her. Also, she's a lousy terrible performer who also wears outfits that must have belonged to her little sister because they sure aren't her size! BUT I DIGRESS...

 

So, if you wanna see dick, come on Thursday or Sunday evening; they have a "shadow box" contest where the dancer gets behind a screen with a light behind him--hence the "shadow" portion of the box--and they work it until their two or four minutes are up. Believe me, you don't miss a thing. They also have a best buns contest where the promoter, Tommy G, goes down the line, commenting on the buns, and the winner is chosen depending upon the applause. Sometimes that part can be endless so I no longer partake in that part. It's worth going and CERTAINLY worth the $5.00 cover to enter the bar.

 

Although the dancers are more the ethnic lean hard body than the anglo big muscle man, they are good entertainers and all very nice. They remember you and you learn about them, their families, it becomes a party.

 

The bar is located in Manhattan, on 41st street between 8th & 9th, closer to 9th. For those who know NYC, it's located directly between the two Port Authority buildings. You can't miss it.

 

I've never been to any of the bars in the outer boroughs. Can anyone else comment on the dancers there? Do they show dick? Very recently the news in NYC has been covering the huge explosion of porno shops (I think they've opened four or five new bookstores...ooooooo). Also, the bookstores with gloryholes have openings that are so small you can only see the big meat, not taste it!

IMHO.. LaFleur's Drag Shows sound like every Drag Show, I have ever seen over the Year's in NYC..Not being into Wearing Dresses, or looking for an Ugly Woman, The SHOWS never appealed that much to me. The Real Entertaining shows though, are the Drags who take themselves REAL SERIOUSLY! They are the entertaining ones. BUT Hanging in the Village in the Late 70's and 80's, they were the Best Drags, because they were original in many ways..There was year's ago, a few Drag Bars in BKLYN, long gone..Mainly they got the Cuter guys to go to them, because they were the only game in Town, unless you Traveled into the City. I think there is a Bar in Queens, that still does Drag Shows? BUT things and tastes change and they are really part of History.. :+ :+ :+

They have dancers on Monday nights, too - or a dancer, at least. Last Monday, Juan/Jonathan was dancing and mingling with the small group of customers there. Since he's very cute and personable, it was fun, but he left around 1.

 

Also, on Tuesday nights, Tommy G has a few dancers at the Tool Box on 2nd Avenue and 91st Street. They do a little strip show and crown a winner based on applause. There were some cute new faces plus his regular stable from LeFleur's and Boy's Room. There are private rooms downstairs at the Tool Box where you can have a lap dance.

I was in NYC the first week of March and went to LeFleurs. I have been there before, so I know where it is. When I got there, it was totally boarded up and closed. Massive construction barricades and such right in front. The windows were broken and it looked totally wrecked. Now, I here that it is still going strong? I know I didn't go to the wrong place becasue the dusty sign was still there on the building. What's up?? Thanks!

They've torn down the building next door and are building a new one so perhaps you didn't go far enough if you were walking west on 41st Street. They are also tearing down buildings on 41st between 8th & 9th. Perhaps you were there?

 

To the person there on Monday while Jonathan was there, yes I agree. He is a really sexy man with a beautiful body and the nicest personality. I've had great conversations with him which is why now I can't have sex with him because we're such good friends...but I do have a crush on him!

 

And for those going to the Tool Box, yes, you can have lap dances in the private cubicles downstairs...you can also have private face dancers down there too...and not just with the dancers either!

That "Gay Rule" was made up years ago. So all could take a "Nap" then Dance and Cruise til 5 a.m. Things have changed, BUT the rule never did! Even in the Straight World! I have never seen a Club, where the Stripper's didn't show til very late either! First the "Drags", then the "Baskets",by that time the crowd has a BUZZ and starts "Stuffing the Thongs" with Dinero! :+ :+ :+
