Amsterdam strip club scene

Hi I will be in Amsterdam in December for the first time. Any suggestions on where to go for male strip clubs there? I heard that the Why Not club is closed? Any similar ones? I'm interested in Taboo/Montreal style clubs. Thank you for your help.

I was in Amsterdam twice this summer. Though it is still a wonderful city to visit, it has greatly changed in terms of gay life in the past few years. There are NO regular male strip shows; at one bar the bartender said they host strippers maybe three times a year at his establishment. You are correct that Why Not is gone. There is a "house with boys" about a block away from the back entrance from Why Not. I was somewhat disappointed--only one guy who was, to my taste, cute and several really aggressive other guys all of whom were not at all to my liking physically. The gay cafe and bar scene, though smaller than in the past, was still very enjoyable and I think it would be relatively easy to hook up with a local guy or another tourist at the bars. Good luck!

The Cock Ring is located on Warmoesstraat 96 (near the Central Station), but just wanted to warn you it's not similar to the clubs in Montreal. It's a dance gay club with a cruisey area upstairs and a live strip act (one or two performers) a few times during the night.
