Well, I got to Club 20 late but I have to say that there was a serious improvment on the quality and quantity of dancers tonite.

Last week the dancers were good but this week there were some Gaiety favorites. TRISTEN YES TRISTEN and antother whos name I forgot.

Iam told that next week there will be another Gaiety favorite, its not comfirmed so I cant say the name but I can say his name starts with a "D".

Last week time in a private room was $200 but it seems the Rob/Tyler heard the comments and changed the pricing structure. This week it was $100. I dont know if that price will stay the same but lets hope.

The rooms are well worth the $100 and this party will get better every week.

Dont pass this party up!

I think a list of the dancers and some reviews will follow.

I cant wait till next sunday!!

What a difference a week can make...

There's no question that Rob/Tyler has been listening to his customers as some big changes took place at the 20 Club.

The first very noticeable difference was in the lineup. There were 14 dancers that ranged in size from twinkish to very muscular. The dancer were also of a better caliber than opening night.

Some of the faces in the lineup were new to me and I don't have background information on them.

1. Brown Sugar

2. Lorenzo

3. Antonio

4. Rhino

5. Angelo

6. Tristan from Boston and former Gaiety dancer

7. Giovanni

8. Mello

9. Christian Michaels

10. Dillon, former Stella's boy

11. Ricky Louis from Splash's "Man-On-Man" show

12. Gabriel danced at the Gaiety as Gary

13. Val, one of noviceny's favorites, good looks and nice muscular build. Danced wearing Dr. Mike's scrubs

14. Lex, aka Erick, popular buffboyzz dancer

The dancers perform to 3 consecutive songs. Some entered in costumes and were very creative. I personally enjoyed the dancer who did the Matrix routine.

The 3 twinkish bar-waiters were back and added a nice touch to the program.

Tim was giving his relaxing massages. He's a very handsome man with a lean, muscular build.

As Taz mentioned, another big change was in the cost of the 20 minute private lap dance. It was reduced from $200 to $100. People coming out of the back private area seemed very pleased. The $20 lap dances are still available.

Two former and popular Gaiety dancers were there checking out the action. Devon and Jeremy, both are looking very good. Devon is a possible dancer for next week.

Not as many customers as opening night, but still a good turn out... The management wants this club to succeed and have been very attentive to the patrons' comments.

Next Sunday is the Super Bowl. It should be fun watching the game with your friends and favorite dancer/bar-waiter. The club has a very large TV screen over the bar.

This week's HX magazine has a picture of Eddie and Tim working at the Club.

COOPER;

THANKS FOR POSTING THE LINEUP. READING IT ALMOST SEEMED LIKE OR FELT LIKE THE OLD FOXY/COOPER GAIETY "HEADLINE NEWS" REPORT/POST. QUITE AN IMPROVEMENT FOR THIS CLUB IN PRICING AND LINEUP IN JUST ONE WEEK! I THINK TYLER/ROB WORKED AT A STRIP CLUB IN LAS VEGAS ON THE MANAGEMENT SIDE SO I GUESS HE LEARNED A LOT AND CONTINUES TO LEARN QUICKLY & MAKE CHANGES. DR MIKE WOULD BE A BIG DRAW TO THIS CLUB.

WELL, I WILL NOT CANCEL MY UPCOMING TRIP TO MONTREAL (AND OF COURSE, JOSH) TO GO TO NYC CLUB 20 SUNDAY'S BUT NICE TO HEAR ABOUT THE ACTION AND AS AN ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITY ON A FUTURE TRIP TO NYC.

ISN'T ANTONIO ONE OF LUCKY'S FAVS?

ALSO, ISN'T TRISTAN OPENLY GAY?

COOPER, I SEE YOU GOT TIRED OF THE CUTE COLIN FARREL AVATAR... AS MANY TIMES AS I PREVIOUSLY POSTED ABOUT WAREHOUSE 29,GREENSBORO,NC AND ITS WEBSITE, IT SURE TOOK EVEN VDN & RENDIE A LONG TIME TO FIND THAT PIC.

Hey, JP, besides the shouting, why did you repost Cooper's post right after it? It's not as though we didn't read it first! That Florida heat must be getting to you! Montreal will fix that! I hope you have a great time. :)

For me, I sure would like to take in one of Tyler's parties. It sounds like he knows what he is doing. And to have a double-header with the BBoyzz party would be a great Sunday night! Lucky New Yorkers!

JP and Lucky

The double header this Sunday was fun. I'm glad I didn't skip out after the Buffboyzz party. According to Taz, no skipping!!!

The Antonio at 20 Club this weekend is not the same Antonio (Tino Lopez's friend) that danced at the G. Not even close!!! Very handsome but he could use major gym time.

take care

It doesn't sound like Michael, the Voice of the Village, had a good time at opening night. Hopefully, he'll return and give an update... The 20 Club has addressed some of his issues ex. lighting, perhaps next week the cost of drinks will drop. $10.00 + tip for a beer is way too much.

Rob/Tyler continues to listen to his customers, Jaynnj posted on MS that there will be a Happy Hour between 5-7pm where drinks will be 2-4-1.

I have also been told that Rob is reaching out to many top dancers to work at the Club. Let's see what next Sunday brings.

RE: pics from HX

Thanks VDN for posting the HX social events page.

Not a very flattering picture of either Eddie or Tim. They are much better looking in person.

Lucky, Although it did rain in NYC on Tuesday, the only activity going on at Madison Square Garden was the Knicks v Lakers game.

BEN VERSACE

Jay,

Thanks for the latest info.

Sounds like good news that Ben Versace will be at Club 20.

You also forgot to mention the battle of the TRISTENS, Gaiety Tristen and Tristen Lane, last but not least Gaiety DEVON will also be at Club 20.

This could almost be a Gaiety Reunion.

Has the St. J$$$$ been notified ?

RE: Super Bowl Sunday at the 20 Club

Sounds like the 20 Club is the place to be this Super Bowl weekend... featuring the battle of the Tristans (the one from the Gaiety/Boston spells it Trystan) and "maybe" the return of "Mr. Gaiety", Ben Versace... Also, a rumor from the "windy city" tells me a popular Stock dancer will also be in attendance checking out the club for a future appearance. I hope he's right...

Out to groom313, rendie had sent me that picture/avatar, but sadly it doesn't conform with Reg. 2257.

"Sounds like the 20 Club is the place to be this Super Bowl weekend"

Now there's a novel thought! I got lucky as a very prominent escort snagged seats for us to go to the Bowl. He says we are in the "tight-end zone" so I know the seats must be good! Little known secret: He also tells me the Bowl has been moved! I am supposed to meet him in Fresno!

WOW - the makings of a real Super Sunday. I'm sure that most eyes will be facing AWAY from the big screen during the game.

enjoy

Ben Versace may be visiting Club 20 this Sunday, though most likely not to strip there as may have been suggested in earlier posts (based on info provided to me today).

I've heard Club 20 has some hot bartenders and Tyler is a good businessman and sees the potential of having someone with Ben's outgoing personality and sexy, good looks as a potential additional bartender.

I did not get to see Ben's turn as DJ at the Gaiety in June 2004 but by all reports he did a great job as DJ. He also was a very good DJ/MC at GR's first private party. I believe that jay's initial post was referring to Ben Versace's checking out Club 20 tomorrow night, for the potential to be a bartender there. This sounds like this could be a big plus for Club 20 to draw former Gaiety fans and to Tyler/Rob's continuing efforts to improve the Club 20 and make quick "opening month" changes based on good feedback from its patrons.

This is defintely a male strip venue that local NY area and visiting out-of-town former-Gaiety goers should be supporting and encouraging to do well. Its not the Gaiety, but it sounds like its a fun weekend alternative to other types of male strip shows/venues in NYC. Sounds like a fun alternative to SuperBowl watching and have fun there!!!!!!
