Also, what keeps me going is being in my local community group of gay guys, who are well rounded and not stuck on one thing: strip clubs, all the time. (Even when I was stuck on one person in the male strip club world, I still had a life beyond that even when I was in NYC). And yes, I really have visited very few strip clubs in the last year. As warned to me prior, I don't want to get stuck in the: P T T N Y G mold, that ya'll seem to be. But I'm sure you know my thoughts better than me and can set me straight on this, too.

 

Also, the above is another priceless Lucky reply. As I replyed in a lounge thread. Your posts mostly seem to fall into what I have heard the British refer to "as too cute (or cheeky) by half". Its hard to believe that your posts on the M4M site in the various forums could have caught the attention of the posters of the escortspeaks site in such a negative way and resulted in such numerous, vicious attacks on you or at least your posting persona. How your posts triggered such venom replies will most likely remain a mystery for the ages.

 

Lucky you seem to have the right/correct view or only view on so many topics as varied as:

 

Berating another poster on the Lounge thread about Cheleas call-guys brothel of the 60-70's because he makes an interesting reference to Tony Perkins connection to that time, place and scene; to:

Or your opinion movie Brokeback Mountain's only really good quality was its cinematography scenery shots (not sure if you posted this or I verbally heard this from you). Either way- how could this movie be nominated for 8 Academy Awards if it is that uninteresting as a story, not withstanding the the power of showing the tragedy of being persecuted gays and destructive power on everyone's life, who comes into contact with the characters?

 

So I did my memory lane Gaiety bit this week. (It was also a fun time in NYC all those many trips and getting to know a special person). I also in my memory lane this week payed homage to NY Observer's reviews, which was also a big reason for the posts.

 

I cancelled my planned trip this weekend to Montreal to stay at home because of the fun social events here (as the bad weather helped decide that). However, you may even be lucky enough (get it) to see me in Montreal sometime or another in the future. I'll understand if you don't speak to me if you see me (which I very much prefer it that way). Dito also for Taz, Rendie and who could forget Cooper. Likembig, Foxy, VDN and Pelican1 are very sweet, nice people, but I understand loyalty and sticking with friends.

 

BTW, the gest of this post was planned this last weekend by me but I delayed it so as not to confuse it with what was being posted on Club20 thread about 2/5 Sunday night event. Lucky, your post seem on strip club thread and the Chelesa brothel thread on the lounge seemed to drive the format of this post.

I stop in this forum every now and then and was surprised (confused is more like it) to read this thread. I am not sure what you are trying to say here, but most of it seems to be aimed at Lucky, who apparently you no longer like. Well, things do change in time and I am sure you have your reasons.

 

Whatever they are, I am glad to hear that you have a good circle of local friends and other interests to make your life enjoyable.
