Last I heard, and this is going back quite awhile, Vinny/Danik/Cobra was in California for school/baseball and only made intermittent trips to East Coast for cash runs.

If I had to look for him, I think I would check Montreal as the most likely place for him to be doing short term stints for some quick cash if he is keeping with his past Modus Operandi.

 

Now I suddenly feel all private investigatory!
