Question about Montreal Strip Bars

Don't know if this is the correct forum but here goes. I am planning on going to Montreal next month for a little R&R and was wondering if it is possible to arrange an escort session with any of the guys who work at the strip bars. If so, how does one proceed and do you guys have any recommendations on the best places/guys. There are a couple of hot escorts in Montreal who are reviewed here but I was thinking the strip bars would enlarge my choices while giving me a sneak peak so-to-speak.

A lot of the dancers in Montreal will join you back at your hotel. While some of the Stock guys will, many won't. Also, many of these dancers consider themselves straight and will be limited in what they will do. In my experience, dancers at Campus and Adonis are more open to offsite arrangements and may even suggest it. Expect to pay less then most major US cities.

I've tried this route three times over the years and have

not had much success finding the 'right' guy. The first was at Campus

and he was quite interactive in the backroom, leading me to expect he'd be as fun (or more so) in a more private situation. He asked me for the appointment so I agreed to the next afternoon. A different and much less affectionate guy showed up, looking for money first and then hurrying the whole process in order to leave quickly. (I haven't seen him over the past several trips to Montreal so he may have burned enough people over the years to have damaged his reputation.) The second one was a dancer from Stock who I took time to get to know over a couple of evenings and that went much better. (He is a great guy with whom I've kept in touch even though he's not dancing anymore.) Last year, I hired a Campus dancer who after several great 'backroom' dances, I decided to ask back to the hotel for an hour appointment. He arrived (although rather stoned) and we had a decent time. Apparently though, I'd let more time slip away than I realized and when we finished he dressed and pointed to the hotel's digital clock and advised he'd stayed a half hour longer and I owed him for another 30 minutes. We went back and forth a few times and I ended up giving him more money and saying goodnight. I went to bed and upon awaking the next morning, looked at my watch and noticed the hotel's nightstand clock was now 30 minutes ahead of my watch. (The lesson: if you leave to use the bathroom, timepieces should be re-checked for accuracy upon your return.)

 

Bottom line: Just because the guy knows how to get you hot and bothered in the club, doesn't necessarily translate into a 'hotter' time behind closed doors. I've had much sexier times in the clubs than when bringing the guys 'home' with me.

A few dancers at the twink club "Taboo" asked me for "hotel privates"; however, none of the dancers that asked me were my type.

 

The dancers that I was interested in all told me that they "never do hotel privates"; however, I found out this is not true. They do indeed do hotel privates with certain individuals.

 

I guess you either have to get to "know them" really well, which is hard to do if you're only spending a few days a year in montreal, or I'm just that nasty and they didnt want to give ME a hotel private LOL

The best thing to do is ask, but before you ask make sure you get to know the dancer first, talk to him, have a few dances in the back with him, and if you like him, ask him if he would be interested in coming back to your hotel. Don't just ask the dancer just because you think he is hot, make sure he is fun and affectionate in the back room }( , that will give you an idea that he would be fun back at your hotel. Its similar to meeting someone in a "regular" bar, if he likes you and you like him, chances are it can lead to something more.

 

I have found that recently in the last couple years, more dancers seem to be more reluctant to do privates than in the past. Not sure why???? 5 or 6 years ago when I went to Montreal it seemed like any dancer I asked would do a private, not so much anymore I don't know why, maybe its me :+

 

If you are not having any luck with the dancers you can always try one of the Escort agencies, they usually have a good selection of hot guys, and its a sure thing!!

I, too, have found that there is little correlation between guys who are fun in the back of the bar and also fun at the hotel. A couple of times I've thought sure I knew somebody well enough to predict well but I've pretty much been disappointed, more or less. At this point, my experience has led me to the conclusion that it's best to enjoy dancers at the bar and escorts at the hotel.

CTGuy has given the advice I would have given if I hadn't been too busy getting ready to leave for Montreal :-).

 

Most dancers who do privates chose to be dancers, not escorts, precisely in order to keep the freedom to choose what they will do and with whom they will do it. Spending time (both in front and in the back rooms) with a dancer and, in that way, letting them see that you're an overall good guy, is key to getting a "yes" to the hotel private question.

 

The first time I ever took a dancer home with me, he said "no" on night 1. I went back and did more dances and talking with him on night 2. When I saw him on night 3 he offered to come home with me. His explanation: it took a while to be sure that I was a nice guy (I've gotten better at projecting "nice guy" more quickly !).

 

By the way, those who immediately propose a trip to the back room and are not willing to spend some time talking with you are likely to be the ones you should not bother with, no matter how hot they are in the back.

 

In common with others who've replied to you, by and large my dancer hotel experiences have not been as hot as my escort experiences. But I have not been cheated or conned, and the guys I've taken home with me have been interesting and lots of fun, and I tend to see them again and again when I'm in Montreal. I like being able to "audition" them in the clubs before making a decision, and I love the thrill of the hunt when new dancers appear.

 

Finally, there have been some good reports here (including twink availability) in the past 6 months or so on the Tender Moments Agency, 514-791-4447. I've not (yet) used them myself, but, as you can see, I've got their number ready just in case.

I've been pretty lucky finding dancers who will do hotel shows. There have been a couple guys who have said no, but mostly its yes. A number of guys have told me that they don't usually do hotel shows but they would for me. Up til now, I figured it as a line of BS, but now I'm thinking maybe not. Maybe I'm just a nice guy, or maybe its because I'm not too demanding -- who knows.

This is misinformation. There are several gay escort agencies in Montreal. Just check Fugues when you get in town. It is the monthly gay rag and is available thoughout the Gay Village at bars, newsstands etc.

 

If you check out the dancers, some will indicate they will go to your hotel room. Make it clear what you are looking for and what you are prepared to pay. They will tell you if they agree. Act accordingly!
