WET!!!! The Last of the Last in DC

As mentioned in another thread KY-TOP and I went to WET last night. I had not been there for about 4-5 years give or take but when serving in the Navy at Washington Navy Yard in 92-93 that area was my hang out although it was the ZONE then and Edge was Lost and Found I am sure a few of you remember those days. I was amazed at all the new contruction and yes fences around where; Zigfield's (God Bless Ya Ella), Secrets(KY-TOP told me he was there the weekend they closed), also of earlier times La Cage, Follies and many other names over the years, while we have lost the places they can't take away our memories.

 

It was a Monday night so maybe about 5-8 dancers there. T-Rex who told me he has been there since it was Wet about 12 years and he is a dancer manager. Nice guy but little to controlling over the other guys. MY guess since they are the last major act in town management feels they will be bombared by the Police, Vice or Liquor board. He did things that he would not let them do. Told them they couldnt bend down to get at your eye level, not suppose to touch them above the knees. There were several hot guys there. My favorties were Brett who looked like a Marine 6ft 5 nice body, cock after he got warmed up was excellent reminded me of the old days there of coming around after his set and thanking you and giving you a kiss. I also got 2 back rubs from him. Would have made a good escort and I even talked to him about it but he didn't bite. he he. Also a very cute twink Adam took a good while for him to come alive I feel most of this is the Dance mamanger cause when Adam was on the other side of the Bar was alive. Two other nice Black guys but one got sent home early cause he got hard a few times (what a nice cock) and guess the Mgr didnt want that to happen. Overall was a great night and I fell in love with Brett what a cutie made my night. Adam and Brett were from Secrets and also a few guys who didnt dance that night ,once again not to many other places othat are left for them to dance. Dance Manager said he thought another year but KY and I feel if they make it to September they will be doing good. I think they will be harrassed until they shut them down so they can build there too. It is to bad they can't get rid of the Rats and some of the houses that support them that are so close. We got out of the car watching a Rat run accross the street glad he was going the other way I wouldnt have wanted him attacking my leg. It was a blast seeing Brett get Chuck all worked up, such a tease that boy was. Brett and Jeremy definitely made the evening fun. Even though I got scolded by T-Rex for touching Jeremy's chest, Jeremy and Brett both made up for it later. During a break they stood on each side of me and put my hands to their chest. I had Jeremy's pierced nipple in my left hand and Brett's nipple in my right. Both nice guys with great nipples.

 

I did sorely miss Secrets though. A little birdy (will maybe a not so little sexy birdy, that said he could get in trouble for talking about it at WET) said that Secrets has found a new location and should be back in business in about 3 months. Let's hope so.

Sadly, Wet has been restrictive for some time; The last time I had any fun there was back in 1992. Of course, there was more competition then: Secrets, La Cage, Shooters/Rascals, and the Chesapeake House.

So is Wet really and truly the last stripper bar in DC? I have always found it so much more restrictive then Secrets! Do any of the bars in Dupont Circle ever have dancers worth seeing?

The only stripper bar in Dupont Circle was Rascals which closed in the early 1990's. They were a hit or miss proposition but I remember a couple of hot guys that worked there. From time to time Mr. P's would have a few boys stripping down to g-string but that was closed more than a year ago.

 

Wet's days are numbered due to other development plans for that part of town. Developers have bought every available parcel in anticipation of the boom to come from the baseball stadium.

Funny, I remember touring the strip clubs in DX, being guided by a friend who lived in DC. We had a coupla mandarin cosmos at the Duplex Diner then went to to La Cage and then WET. I remember the strippers at La Cage being much more appealing than those at WET. In fact, I recall reigning a VERY intense conversation so as to avoid the attentions of the stripper at WET.
