The very popular Gaiety Dancer GQ will be in NY from June 25th thru July 1 and will be dancing at Club 20 on June 25.

Thanks Taz for the heads up...GQ, a popular dancer from both the Gaiety and Madrigal's, made one appearance at the 20 Club and was a big hit. His good looks, in shape toned body, and friendly personality won over many appreciative patrons. His stage shows are always entertaining, and he will be remembered as one of the best dancers/performers at the Gaiety. Glad to hear he'll be back.

I think we've all come to the unhappy realization that the Gaiety is not coming back.Someone once said "hope springs eternal" but I'm not sure I can live that long.

 

We do have the 20 Club on Sunday nights and I'm warming up to it. The dancers, while not totally nude come pretty close. There's an nice assortment of body types and the guys are all friendly. Some will actually roll you right into a corner in their enthusiasm to get to know you.

 

It's not really all that expensive. Admission, a couple of drinks and a few lap dances might set you back $100. Hey, it's NY! You want a cheap evening?...stay home and watch re-runs on tv. It also starts before midnight which is a big plus in my book.

 

Some advance notice of who will be dancing would be nice. Thanks to Taz for the "heads up".

GQ will also be dancing at Splash Bar during the Saturday night "Man on Man" show.

 

As for his pictures, he was a PLAYGIRL centerfold model. I recall VDN posting that spread.

Too bad, I will miss seeing GQ, a male stripper, perform again since I will only possibly be at the 20 Club, a male strip club, that features male strippers perform, this coming Sunday, June 18th. I look forward to seeing my very good and loyal M4M frequent reviewer and poster friends at the 20 Club - NOT!

 

Of course there is the Broadway Bares #16- NY Strip AIDS benefits at the Roseland on June 18th also with 9:30 and midnight performances. A very fun burlesque experience that last year raised over $654,000 for Aids research, a very worthy cause and a lot of fun. See the thread moved to the Lounge section that has a link to the slide pics from last year's #15 Broadway Bares event.

 

Anyway, I'll be traveling beginning early tomorrow morning to several cities including NYC, so I probably won't be posting on this site again for a week or two. Can I hear an AMEN! to that... I knew you could say it.

Thanks Rendie for the photo spread of GQ...Unlike the updated pictures of the Stock building, which show no noticeable signs of progress in the past month, GQ's pictures do. His body looks incredible. This is the best muscular shape I ever seen him in. He certainly wasn't in this shape when he performed at the Gaiety.

Yes, he really does look very buffed up. I didn't see him the first time he was at Club 20, so I hope he still looks somewhat the same on 6/25.

 

I recently read some nice things about him another forum. Supposedly, he is not just a "stand and pose type" as previously reported.

That would be delightful! I have yet to get to Club 20. I hope to go soon. It would be nice to see some old G faces there. I am beginning to realize that the G won't have a resurrection anytime soon. Is Denise still working in her brother's porn shop?
