Stock Opening on Schedule July 23rd

I dropped into Stock an hour or so after it had opened and it was already packed and going full tilt. The following are my first impressions; I only stayed for one drink and although offered a torrid dance from a dancer I knew, I declined (as I have had an active weekend already and need to get up early in the morning to retrieve my yacht which has been in drydock (well, punt actually)).

 

Whatever, the place is BIG, much bigger and with two large bars. The main stage is at the north end of the building (the back) and it is fashioned in the way the original one at Stock I was, a runway with a narrow stage at back. Lots of tables and walk around space; my concern is that on quiet nights the place is going to seem cavernous.

 

I liked the shower stage behind the bar on the far right, they were making good use of it and in one sequence they had two cuties jacking each other under the shower, quite exciting to watch actually. They got a big round of applause. They ended with a kiss, sweet.

 

There were quite a few women (I guess they just materialized without any specific mention that they would be there). Another reason not to hire a dancer; they seem to lose their focus with c**t around.

 

One funny moment was watching the owner trying to get into his office; it was locked and he was fumbling with his keys, bent over in the dark like a drunk trying to get into his house. The office is in plain view of the bar and he was bent over until a staff member came to his rescue with a flashlight.

 

I peeked into the booth area but it was not finished, and too bright with overhead lights; I hope they dim it down and finish it better. To be fair, they were still painting the place at 3pm and by 8 it looked done more or less.

 

All in all, quite an accomplishment in the time they had to rebuild. They should do well over the next few weeks with Gay Pride and the Outgames. The test will be in the longer haul if they can continue to fill the place in the slower periods.

I heard that the 1st dancer on stage was Mark, and he came out dressed as a fireman. Good to see they have a sense of humor.

Its great to have our awesome Stock Bar back! Tonight was incredibly fun but I'm far too intoxicated to explain how great the new place is.... more tomorrow (with pics).

Thanks and one thing I should have mentioned is that there were lots of gorgeous dancers there last night (it now being early morning). Many if not all of the ones that had been dancing at Campus were there and others as well. Lance (aka Mickey) told me he was now going to work at Stock again so I guess all was forgiven for whatever got him bounced from there in the first place.

 

I'm not good with the names unless I know the dancers well (altho I do remember faces) but Mark was indeed dressed as a fireman (I only saw the suit on the stage as he had already disrobed when I got there). He does have a gorgeous bubble butt.

 

We are starting to take it for granted but I did notice how nice it is that people can't smoke in the bars anymore and so the Stock smells nice and fresh, no left-over stale smell. It's just so pleasant for non-smokers such as myself not to have to put up with red eyes and smelly clothes when you leave.

Last night was such a great time... I admit I overdid it a bit. But it was so great to see all the dancers and staff back and in such a great mood. The energy was really great, I hope it continues...
