The ad just came out today in one of the local mags. Lukas Ridgeston, the biggest Bel Ami star since the company's inception, will be at The Boardwalk all four nights of Thanksgiving weekend. This is his first appearance in the US. Granted, he's older now and won't exactly look like he does in his biggest hits from the 90s. But the piercing blue eyes are the same, and I'm sure the heat is still there. So if you're down here for Thanksgiving, here's something to mark down in your calender.

About 6-7 years ago, there was a rumor that he would be coming to NYC and escorting for $1000/hr. It turned out to be just that - a rumor. Though there were people ready to pay that outrageous rate for someone who didn't even speak English.

I'm only conveying what the ad said in our local mag. If I passed on incorrect info, my apology. Where has he appeared before?

Lessee...

OH, maybe they meant first strip show. That might be true.

But he and Johann did a signing at A Different Light in WeHo (those eyes are more incredible in person!), attended/worked the Adult Industry Expo in Vegas, did some event in SF, and I'm pretty sure there was a stopover in NYC somewhere along the way.

The first time I slept with Lukas and Johann, George Duroy was present as well.

The second time I was with Lukas, one of the board members here took a nice picture of the two of us together.

But, lest I lead you on, when I slept with Lukas and Johann it was on a plane. They were in another row than I was! We were on a red-eye from San Francisco. In the morning, waiting for their luggage, they still looked good!

The second time Lukas was appearing at a Chelsea bookstore. He wore a blue sweater which really brought out the blue in his eyes. He was quite friendly as well.

Lucas and Johann also appeared here in Houston at the Lobo bookstore for a calendar and book signing a couple of years ago. Several local economic heavy hitters in the Gay community were treated to brunch and conversation with these two extraordinary young men. It was difficult to concentrate on food looking across into those beautiful blue eyes and that bewitching smile.

If you get the chance to see Lucas it will be an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

I think you hit the nail on the head, especially in view of the comments that followed about visits to other cities.

The ad says: "First Time Live in America." I guess if you do a dinner or book signing, it's not a "live" show.

Anyway, I can't wait to see those famous eyes.

Gee, I wonder if he'll be doing lap dances. Actually, he'll probably have a large entourage and a bunch of bodyguards. I like that. The word "bodyguard" takes on a special meaning in the porn industry.

I can't say why George Duroy turned him down. There may have been circumstances that affected his decision.

However, I do have confidence that this is legit. The Boardwalk is very well connected. I don't think anyone would dare dupe the owner of The Boardwalk. It frequently has big name porn stars as guests. They advertised in all the local mags. It will happen. I've never seen a big name star who was advertised who did not show up.

Lukas will probably get more than 10K just in tips dancing around the top of the bar. One of his agents will have to follow him around the bar to scoop up the $$$ because there won't be enough room in his shorts. I saw this happen with Ashton Ryan, a super twink from Junior Studio. The tips were coming so fast, the person following him around could hardly keep up.

It's a place where dancers are seen by agents who hire them to be in photo shoots or flicks. I can think of three dancers who were spotted there, left The Boardwalk, and began churning out porn flicks.

And also a place where many South Florida scam artists try to pretend to be agents and photographers in hopes of getting some personal attention or more.

I'm not surprised about that. Nothing surprises me in Florida. It's a haven for scam artists and quacks from everywhere and in many lines of work. However, the fact remains that the porn industry does scoop up some of the best dancers at The Boardwalk. They just can't resist the $$$ promised.

It's too bad for the dancers who thought of this as a temporary job to get money for school or whatever, and then end up going down a different path, with the original goals left behind in the dust.

Hey Cooper,

Lukas did show up from what I've been told. Would be nice to see some posts with impressions on how he presently looks.

He is no longer in his twenties, I believe. Fine with me, :9 :9

Lukas did show up and some of my dancer friends at Boardwalk tell me that he looked really good (they had heard otherwise). He was very professional and mingled with the customers. The crowds were very large.

I started this thread. I may as well comment on my experience seeing Lukas. I have always been a big Bel Ami fan, so I was really looking forward to this event. Advance general admission was $20. That ticket just insured that you would not have to stand in line. You could use it on any of the four nights. VIP tickets went for $100, again for any of the four nights. A VIP ticket entitled you to mingle with Lukas in a separate room in the front. Only 100 VIP tickets were up for sale.

I was very disappointed. The Friday night 11:00 PM show started at 12:00, which is typical. The big disappointment was that he did not strip, dance, or really perform for us masses. While he's in good shape for his age, he's not what some people may remember from the height of his career. Remember, his first film with Bel Ami was "Tender Strangers" from 1994. So by now he's 30-something.

He basically stood there with the diva while his shirt was auctioned off. The winner got to take the shirt off, as well as his own, and stand close to Lukas. Whoopee doo! The whole show lasted about 15-20 minutes. The place was packed, and it was hard for many people to get a good view of all of him - well not exactly all of him.

He did sign some autographs in the back patio, but I wouldn't call that mingling. The VIP customers did get to mingle with him quite a bit. Many guest porn starts dance around the top of the bar. Ashton Ryan (supertwink from Junior Studios) did this, and it was really nice. He also mingled with the masses. I understand it was very expensive to get Lukas to The Boardwalk for four nights, but I think we had the right to expect a bit more for $20 and all the advance hype in the local mags.
