October 26 is the start date for this years Stock Idol contest.

If all of the contestants stay in the show until the end it could be one of the best years ever.

I might have missed one, all of the advertising says 24 dancers and I only counted 23.

 

Maybe we could have a friendly wager on who the winner of the Mr Stock title for this year would be.

The contest will be on 6 thursdays.

 

Each of the 6 thursdays will have a diffrent theme that the dancers will have to be prepared for using there own imagination for costumes and there stage show based on the theme.

 

You can vote in person at the club each week or on the Nudemaledancers.com site. (not sure if you will need to be a member to vote via the site)

 

There will also be in person judges (past Mr Stocks) winners will be based on the in-person customer votes, website and judges votes.

 

It also sounds like the past Mr Stocks will be doing weekly shows.

Didn't they say last year that there would be a big-screen TV as well, but instead, the winner got a fireplace (which eventually became props on stage for Christmas)? ha ha. I don't think they know the prizes until the very last day, when they actually announce what the prizes are at the finale. Have they officially told the dancers what the prizes will be this year? I doubt it. It's mostly hearsay, I believe.

The Stock Idol Contest and the Mr. Stock Contest are one in the same. It used to be called "Mr. Stock", but when the TV show American Idol aired, it was re-named the "Stock Idol Contest". The winner of this contest will be crowned MR. STOCK.

This weeks Stock Idol/Mr Stock contests theme was Halloween.

 

Each of the dancers did one song in a costume.

The show was creative and a good break from the usual show, not much skin was shown because of the costumes but each of the dancers did a good job.

I sat and watched the whole contest. The longest I've ever sat in Stock without going to the back. }(

Those eliminated were no shows for the contest, felt sorry for all the Eddy fans. It was fun to see how serious some of the others took the contest and how much prep they put into their costumes or the editing of their selected music for their time on stage. I admit I voted for Christopher, he is just hot as hell even if a couple of others probably beat him on the costume part. But being given his first rose that he was passing out to some of the audience as part of his skit didn't hurt either. Before going on stage he promised to come see me after he got off the stage but sadly never made it. ;( But Marco was a most excellent substitute.
