Did Splash splish some dish on one of its go-go boys? That's the allegation made in his lawsuit against the club. They had the nerve to advertise him as a porn star!

I'm go-go, not porno, he sez in $1M suit

A Bronx arts student says he may be a go-go dancer at a gay nightclub in Chelsea - but he's no porn star.

Alex Saez, a part-time dancer who shook it up onstage at Splash, is suing the megaclub for allegedly printing beefcake shots of him in magazine ads that identified him as a star of skin flicks.

But Saez, a model who worked at a children's clothing store until his pictures popped up in two gay men's magazines, insists he's no porn star, according to a $1.25 million defamation lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

"In fact, he is merely a dancer and entertainer," said the lawsuit.

Saez, who had periodically been hired to dance at Splash parties, posed for the hunky snapshots last January, allegedly at the request of club promoters.

"[saez] accommodated the request provided that any images be used solely for one-time limited in-house distribution of flyers," the lawsuit charges.

But Saez contends he was never told his pictures would end up in ads that ran in HX (Homo Xtra) and Next magazines, hyping the appearance of "Alex" a "big city video porn star" who would be performing at a Splash party on Jan. 24.

"[saez] became the subject of gossip and innuendo at his workplace, and became deeply concerned that he would lose his job if his employers believed that he was a porn star," said the lawsuit, which also targets HX and Next as defendants.

Splash bar runs weekly promotions such as "Full Frontal Friday" and "Stud Search" which are accompanied by photos of musclebound stallions.

The 10,000-square-foot club - whose Web site claims director John Waters and designer Isaac Mizrahi are regulars - also sponsors drag-queen dance-offs and once played host to an impromptu Britney Spears concert.

A lawyer for Saez did not return calls, and officials at HX and Splash declined to comment on the lawsuit.
