Hi all,

Just posting the following info I've received:

"Kyle, 5'7", muscular and with an outgoing personality will be performing this Sunday at Club 20. This talented dancer has performed at several clubs across the USA. Kyle is one hot performer you will not want to miss."

RE: July 1st update

"HEY GUYS THIS WEEK AT CLUB 20 WE SHOULD HOPEFULLY BE HAVING ZACK MATTE0 PROVIDING ALL GOES WELL."

Sadly, all did not go well. I realize it comes with the territory, but Zack was a no show. I understand it was a big, no huge!, disappointment to a few, but "no shows" happen all the time in this business.

On a happier note, GIO, returned to the stage. This handsome, slender dancer is a favorite with some patrons and his return emptied a lot of wallets.

Last night Bobby, the doorman, celebrated his b'day at the Club. One of his special friends provided food, cake, champagne, and party favors. Bobby had a very special treat as he was brought up on stage and had several dancers "abuse" him. He definitely was a happy b'day boy.

Ziv (HX winner of the best NY go-go dancer), Sebastian, James (Mr. Personality), and Matrix gave wonderful stage performances. They also give excellent lap dances.

My favorites were: Brad, Jay, Marcus, and Sergio... Some huge muscular dancers were in the lineup: Jeff (former Gaiety dancer), Fox (a bartender from Swinging Richards), and Apollo.

Good meeting a very kind and friendly M4M "lurker" from Pa. He was a 1st timer at the Club and learned all about it from reading our posts.

Two fellow Hoovillians were also in attendance, our two computer experts, VDN and Rendie.

Still nothing new to report on the "rumored" opening of a week day 20 Club at a Times Square location.

RE: July 1st update

As Cooper stated Zack did not show up. Allegedly he didn’t know he had to stay the whole night. Allegedly he forgot there were fees to pay to work there. Allegedly he forgot the United States Postal Service recently raised the price of stamps. Allegedly he forgot how to work socks. Before the Gaiety it never occurred to me that I could hire men for their “time”. Men who I would see in porn movies were now readily accessible via a quick jaunt on Rentboy and an appointment made via a cellular device. It seemed what was once an unobtainable fantasy was just a grope away.

Maybe subconsciously I allowed Zack to remain a fantasy of mine. With his regular visits to NYC I could have easily set up some time. I guess I still admired the thrill of the unobtainable. When I heard he was coming to 20C I had every intention of playing coy before getting him on my lap and putting money in his underpants.

When I heard he had become an asstard and decided not to come for stupid reasons I was, at best, incensed.

All in all it was a so-so night. In the bathroom I was able to hear an intellectual exchange between Patrick and Ulysses. With so many worldly topics to pick from they settled on self-tanning lotions and bronzers. What made the conversation more riveting was the use of the word, “shit”.

Ulysses: Shit. How did you get so tan?

Patrick: I used this shit.

Ulysses: Shit. That’s good.

Patrick: I also use this bronzer shit.

Ulysses: Shit!

Patrick: I know. I made money last night dancing for ladies.

Ulysses: Shit. I should do that.

Patrick: One lady scratched me with her ring.

Ulysses: Shit. That sucks.

Patrick: Shit yeah.

The above is fun to do with another person. Do it like a play.

I immediately forwarded their names to MENSA International after I heard this conversation.

James, as always gave me a delightful lap dance and delightful conversation.

I had an awesome time with Cooper and Rendie. Last night I thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of proximity to Cooper. The VIP effect was awesome.

The best delight came when Zov danced. The delight wasn’t so much in his performance (very Dance Fever circa 1980). The delight was in his first song. I love Depeche Mode. I had no idea an R&B woman by the name of Jamelia existed. Her voice is OK and she shouldn’t get too much credit for this slamming song as her producers did an awesome job in making a song around Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” sample. If you need something to dance to then download this: http://rapidshare.com/files/40650474/Jamelia_-_Beware_Of_The_Dog__Depeche_Mode_-_Personal_Jesus_Sample_.mp3.html

FYI - It's $20 admission - and from there, the sky is the limit with $20 lap dances and champagne room privates for $120. Any particulars on your friend? Please let us know.

He's an EV go-go boy, I believe he was auditioning this afternoon to see if he can dance. I was just going there to be supportive. Thanks for the info, Brett!

"it's free before 7pm"

gboy, nothing is "free" at the $20 Club. Before 7pm the cover is $10 after it's $20.

"And I miss Cooper's weekly review of the place, where are you coop."

Thanks ... The past few Sundays I enjoyed the show with visiting Hoovilians: KYTOP and Jackhammer. As for the lineups most of the regulars are there week after week.

One change that hit some of us big in the wallets was the cost of a visit to the champagne room. There are two areas you can go. Facing the bar, one is to the left and the other is to the right of the bar. The charge for the left side is $120 + tips for 20 minutes, the right side (and more private with curtain) is now $150 + tips for 20 minutes. When you add in your tips for the man who brings you the "free" drinks, the manager who brings you in the room, and the dancer for doing extra$$, it totals more than a hotel private.

The house takes 1/2 of the charge the dancer gets the other 1/2.

The 20 Club is currently the only place in NYC where you can find over 20 go-go dancers working in their undies/thongs and offering lap dances and champagne room privates.

I've been to the champagne rooms 5 times in my few visits there.4 times to the 120 rooms and once to the 150 room.Out of the 5 times the drinks ordered only showed up 3 times. The 3 times the drinks were brought by the manager i guess. But no way did I tip him. This tipping crap is getting out of hand.Everywhere you turn someone has their hand out. What kills me is there's a tipping can by the guy who takes your money when you enter the club. What the hell for?The only people I tip there are the bartenders, the waiters and the dancers. That's enough! Geez!
