The first week of December I'll be taking my first trip to New Orleans.

 

Looking through this groups FAQs I didn't notice any strip clubs listed. Does anybody happen to know of any in the Cajun city?

 

I'm also interested in hotel suggestions as well.

The Corner Pocket is the only strip bar in NOLA. It is located two blocks north of Bourbon Street in the eastern end of the French Quarter, some distance from the other gay bars.

 

The guys dance atop a large O shaped bar and usually don't get naked! Of course, generous tips can cause the dancer's shorts to slip During midweek, the dancers have been known to become friendlier with the patrons, after midnight. There are no private dances on the premises! :-(

In addition to Corner Pocket, you can also find dancers at the Bourbon Pub/Parade ( http://www.bourbonpub.com/ ) and across the street from that at OZ ( http://www.ozneworleans.com/ ). You do not get the variety or sheer numbers that you get at Corner Pocket however.

 

Dancers perform in gstrings or a towel (or a wet towel, which is nice) but not completely nude on the bar. You can get a feel or a look and sometimes arrange some time with a dancer. Esp those at the Corner Pocket, if you have deep enough pockets.

 

Sometimes you can find a dancer at Lafittes in Exile as well. But thats only on occasion. http://www.lafittes.com/

I was looking forward to more of a traditional strip club where the guys are nude and do privates in a secluded room.

 

However, when I reach town I will visit the clubs mentioned. Maybe I'll stumble onto a gem to take back to my hotel.

Yeah, not so much like that in New Orleans. Quite easy to see skin or get laid however. Have fun.
