Was in SF this week and, unfortunately, my appointment with a well-reviewed escort fell through. So, I decided to see what was happening at Nob Hill Theatre.

I had heard reports that it was going down hill but that's not what I experienced!

Admission price is now $30 and I really wasn't that impressed with the videos that were shown between the shows.

But, on the positive side I found the place very clean and the staff friendly. It was kind of a slow night and I seemed to get a lot of attention from the dancers.

Four of the guys were really great and ranged from beefy muscle-type to the "boy next door". They were very approachable, friendly, and I loved the way they interacted with me.

A fifth dancer was really not my type and reminded me of someone I'd see panhandling on the street. He made me very uncomfortable and I suspect he's new to the business.

Actually ended up taking one of the dancers back to my hotel and had a mind-blowing experience. (The first review for this escort will be submitted shortly after I get a picture for him.)

Don't shy away from Nob Hill Theatre. It's still there and I had a great experience.

That's a lotta hay just to get in. If it was as good as the old Gaiety maybe...

Got to agree that $30 is a high price to pay. Nob Hill used to have "early bird" rates and maybe they still do (I arrived after 7:00 p.m.). The $30 also includes "in and out" privileges that I also like. Can't remember if Gaiety offered that.

The night I was at Nob Hill it reminded me very much of Gaiety. Four of the five guys were definitely Gaiety quality.

The other thing I like about Nob Hill is that the dancers come down right into the audience for short, personal lap dances. I believe the Gaiety guys remained on stage for their entire dance. In addition, the Nob Hill dancers actually guided my hand to their erect cocks and encouraged touching and feeling.

Hey, onefinger, had great experience there last September. Main dancer was a hot, muscular East European who obliged me when I slipped him a $20 bill. Let me play under his bikini with his hard, huge cock. Would have taken him to my hotel if I had not been with another really hot escort who I traveled to SF to see. Really look forward to going back to Nob Hill in August when I will again be in SF :9 :9 :9 :9

>Do the police really leave it alone? Sounds too good to be true.

I "thought" I had read a few months ago that there were some raids. Hopefully someone else will know for sure.

I was really hesitant to mention this before. But, there was something that happened while I was there that made me feel Nob Hill's not being closely watched.

First, there was no "warning" at the beginning of the dance indicating that touching was not allowed. (There definitely was a warning last time I was there.)

Second, one dancer ("Ricky") came down into the sparse audience of 3 people for his one-on-one "tip trip". There was a guy a couple rows in front of me and sitting on the side. When Ricky approached him he held up a bill (couldn't see denomination). The patron opened his mouth and Ricky shoved his cock in the guy's mouth for a blowjob. The sucking went on for at least 2 minutes. Ricky also turned around and let the guy insert a couple of fingers up his ass.

When Ricky came to me, he took my hand and put it on this cock. He leaned over and suggested I suck him. I really wasn't attracted to him and wasn't too excited about being second in the "suck" line. Ricky then turned around, spread his cheeks, and asked if I wanted to rim him. (I like rimming but NOT in a public theatre with others watching!)

When I talked with Blake and 3 of the other dancers in the backroom, they said they use the private booths back there all the time. (Charge for booth rental is $10 and then what ever the dancer charges for a private.) Walls on the private booths were about 8 feet tall which left a 2 foot gap between the top of booth and the ceiling. The 3 booths all had locks on the door.

In short, I got the impression that there was a lot of action going on at Nob Hill Theatre. }(

I haven't been there in a long time, but my memory is that you didn't need to slip the dancer a $20 to get a good grope...a dollar did just fine.

The Nob Hill is the very first gay place I ever went. I was visiting San Francisco in the mid 70's and went in there, took a seat, and watched a porn film with the action taking place in a bathroom. I didn't care for the film. I went to the bathroom and made sure no one could see my dick...why were all those guys hanging out in there?

At any rate, I returned to my seat, the film ended, and they turned the lights up! I was stunned. Even though there was no chance in hell that I would know anybody there, I virtually ran out of the place and kept running until I was a few blocks away.

So, yes, I had "issues" coming out. Thank god they were overcome!

  • 3 weeks later...

I went back last night and it was good. Several very good looking guys and they have scheduled guys every half hour instead of having some half hours filled with just movies. There was one particular guy - Matt C. - who was particularly who was nicely ripped, thin but still had an amazingly round ass. He was young and after speaking with him a bit somewhat innocent (in a way). My advice would be to get check out the headliners, go during their times and check out the schedule before and after and pick your schedule from there.
