Was just there last week. No changes as of yet. Cutie bartender said they will start in winter and be done by spring. Went on a Sat eve for a drink around 7pm - no dancers, two customers drooling at the porn on the TV -- while I chatted up twinkie drink server. :-) Dancers are mixed from lean to muscle - some are very pushy (Miguel - 11 inches not gay inches either) and Alex (Russian guy). One hottie was Adam (Panther) lean - hot, and very sexy. Lap dances were mild to whatever --- heard some sounds from another booth that were quite explicit. All in all a quiet evening with some flesh and a couple of cocktails. The one boi that really caught my eye, was not doing lapdances...only on stage - he did chat and was funny, straight and shy to do lapdances -- saw lots of people offer but he did not venture upstairs.

Thanks for this report. I saw "Panther" several years ago. He must have left and come back or something. I always thought he should be an underwear model. He never let me do a whole lot in the "dance" booth but he sure is pretty to look at.

I thought they made all of their money by doing lap dances. Maybe it has changed but it used to be that the dancers had to pay to work there. That is weird that some one would dance there and turn down all the dances. Maybe he had a daddy who paid him enough that he didn't need to go with everyone else. It has been my experience that the guys all pretty much set their own limits in the private booths. I have had some guys who didn't let me touch anywhere but their chest. And others who would do pretty much anything you want. I would guess that may depend on their comfort level with the customer as well.

Remingtons is no more

BREAKING NEWS:

Remingtons has been shut down by the city of Toronto (as of May 7, 2009?). Notices posted on the front door indicate the new deadbeat owners owe months of back rent and taxes.

Can anyone provide additional details?

I see from the Remingtons website that the club is now under new ownership and has been or will be renovated and perhaps is now called Magnum. Anyone been there lately? Have things changed much?

Remington's has reopened.

Remington's has reopened.

I'm not sure what happened but, they were closed a few days. I just called the club and they are open.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know that I've moved to Toronto and have been to Remington's a few times in the last few weeks. I've always had a good time when I've gone on weekends - the one time that I went on a week night, there were only about 5 dancers there and it was boring.

On the Saturdays that I've gone there though, there are always at least 12-15 dancers, and one night there was about 20. The guys are a mix - some are a little pass their prime but quite a few are young, hot and well-built. I've only been in the back room once, but the guy I was back there with (a Hungarian guy named Fosh) was VERY liberal and showed me a VERY good time in return for the price of 5 dances ($100).

It is two levels but the first level is currently being renovated (top floor is already renovated apparently) and will re-open the weekend of February 14 (how romantic!)

If anyone else on here frequents Remingtons, I'd love to compare notes on the guys. And if any visitors are making their way to Toronto and needs some info, feel free.
