Johnny's Ft. Lauderdale Update; Ralph Woods

I hadn't yet been to Johnny's under the new management. This weekend, Ralph Woods ("French Kiss"), Bel Ami French Canadian mega star with mega tool, is there for three nights. So this seemed like a good time to check it out.

 

There is no cover at Johnny's even when there's a porn star. There's still a $5 valet charge, but the included free drink has been suspended for the time being. The dancers are definitely better than most of the old crew. Yes, it's still leans heavily toward twinks. There were some non-twink types, but almost none of the large guys you see at The Boardwalk or flabby guys who shouldn't be dancing anywhere. But, as pointed out a in a previous thread, most of these twinks are meatier. The dancers are very friendly and hang with you a lot longer than at The Boardwalk. You don't have dancers constantly hitting you up for a lap dance. There are currently two private rooms for lap dances - base price $20. There are two stages and a few poles for the more gymnastic dancers.

 

The noise level is still deafening. Luckily, I had brought my ear plugs or I would be deaf today. I was not able to tell the bartender how I wanted a drink made. Someone had to do if for me. The noise level is so loud, I couldn't talk over it. I know that newatthis mentioned in a previous thread that he e-mailed the bar about the noise and got a positive response. Well I'm sorry to say that if the sound level was lowered, it didn't last long. I spoke with the DJ, who was very reluctant to turn the sound down. I plan to e-mail the bar and remind them that they had already responded positively to other complaints, but nothing has been done.

 

As for the main attraction, that was a big success. Ralph Woods is drop dead gorgeous. His pics do not do justice to his body. You have to see him live to fully appreciate him. He put on a better show than many porn stars. For obvious reasons, I don't want to describe all the details. If I did, it would have your jaw dropping. Let's just say he had some big surprises to please the customers. Yes, he is definitely a full large 10". But I knew that from seeing pics of him and a flick. His Unico boxers auctioned for $100. I always wondered about things like this. If you wash the underwear, does it lose its value? :-) I think a tank top he had worn went for $70. He was also available for a $50 lap dance. People were not running to get in line. That was a bit high.

 

Ralph Woods will be at Johnny's tonight and again Sunday night. On Monday afternoon, he'll be at the upscale clothing store, Bottoms and Tops in the Shoppes of Wilton Manors. He has his own web site.

Thanks Tristan for that great update. I was curious did they expand the club to the "other side" that used to have the pool tables? I had read that there was another club there called "blow" or something like that?

Glad to be of service. You can walk into the other room, which still has pool tables. I also saw another smaller bar. So I assume it's all part of Johnny's. However, I didn't spend any time in there, so I can't tell you anything else about it.

 

I sent an e-mail to the owner of Johnny's, mentioning the positive changes, but requesting that he lower the volume of the sound so people can hear each other talk. In the meantime, I suggest you bring earplugs with you. I wore them most of the time and found it a bit easier to talk with people. They also protect you from hearing loss.

Thanks for the review. I would like to plan my first visit to Ft. Lauderdale around a show by one of the Bel Ami stars.

How can I find out about these special appearances at the stripper bars? Are the shows always during major holidays?

Bel Ami and other porn stars are frequently booked on holiday weekends, but not always. Both Johnny's and The Boardwalk advertise porn star visits with full page ads in Hotspots and The 411 Magazine. Both are weekly and go online Thursdays in thumbnail format and the newer book format (where you can turn the pages). The only problem is if you want to book a trip far ahead, they may not have adverised yet for porn star visits. I don't think I've seen ads more than a month ahead. Also, if you're only interested in Bel Ami stars, there aren't that many visits. In addition to Ralph Woods, Lukas Ridgeton and Sebastion Bonnet have been at The Boardwalk. It's possible that the new management at Johnny's will decide to book more.

I was able to contact FabScout.com and they informed me that Bel Ami stars - Lukas and Johann - would be at the Boardwalk for the week after Christmas. Of course, airfares from the left coast are currently $600 for that week!

First of all, Bakopanda, its great to see you survived Gustav.. I hope your time in New Orleans wasn't a total waste, and that the weather wasnt the only thing sucking...

 

If you like Belami boys, remember that Ralph Woods is a native of Montreal. I know I told you many tales of my visits to Montreal, trying to convince you to make the trip up north. Unfortunately, Ralph is no longer dancing (at least not on a regular basis) at any of the montreal clubs, but he does make guest appearances there for special occasions.. And during my last trip there, I even saw him a couple of different times walking out in the Village. I remember that you like the thin, lanky type guys and that would definitely describe Ralph...
