I'm FINALLY heading up to Montreal!! Will be there October 16-20. Looking at staying at the Sofitel, which I've heard good things about. So, I've got a couple of questions. Firstly, how close is the Sofitel to Stock and Campus? Is it convenient for privates? I don't want to stay there if dancers won't go there because it's too far etc.

What's the weather like in mid October? Is it still warm at all?

From what I've read, I think Stock is going to be my best bet for hot muscle guys. After checking out their site, I really like the look of Alex, Eddy, Jerome, Kevin, Leo and Max. Has anyone had any privates or experiences with these guys to report? Any recommendations of other guys would be truly appreciated! :-)

Am I going to have difficulty in arranging privates, considering I'm not a regular and am only in town for four days?

And my last question (promise!) is what are privates averaging these days in Montreal?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and a THOROUGH review will be posted upon my return!

There's a wealth of useful information in this forum -- more than any one of us has the energy to recap. It's worth spending an hour or so browsing through it -- that way you'll get different points of view. A good place to start are the reports by Karl-G, mtlover, samai, and myself, all of which went up in the last few days.

That being said, here are some quick responses....

>I'm FINALLY heading up to Montreal!! Will be there October

Have you thought about using priceline?

So, I've got a couple of questions.

Dancers and escorts will go anywhere if you cover the cost :-). As others have written, you'll want to use a cab, or the metro.

You *might* get private responses to this query. People are unlikely to name dancers who do privates in a public forum. And keep in mind that dancers may be choosy about whom they'll go home with -- they're not escorts.

>Am I going to have difficulty in arranging privates,

>days?

Maybe. If you spend enough time and money so they get to know you, they may be more willing.

Many of us Montreal regulars believe you get better service from an escort than from a dancer.

It's just possible I might be in Montreal that weekend as well---if I can scrimp together enough money to make it worth my going. My birthday falls during that time, and I like to give myself a gift of a dancer or two :9

Weather: I've been there in mid-October and normally it's fine---but it could be cool/cold rainy and downright nasty as well. I would check the long-range forecast on weather.com for Montreal now, and then check it every few days and see what to expect. In any case, take along some cool weather gear, an umbrella and be prepared for warm weather as well---we might get lucky

Judging from my own experiences, you should not have any difficulty having a good time at Campus and Stock, and maybe L'Adonis--all within walking distance of each other, unless you have serious mobility problems---in which case you could take a cab to L'Adonis---I think, it's what?? eight or nine blocks??

Go to each bar and find a seat where there appears to be traffic from the bar area to the back rooms---easy in Campus, and more difficult at Stock. Watch a dancer who catches your eye and intently stare, catch his eye---chances are he will come over to you. If he doesn't and you really want to talk to him, call a waiter over and tell the waiter that you want to buy a drink for Dancer X---if you don't know his name, just point him out---the waiter may know what he usually dirnks, but if he doesn't, he'll go over and ask. Maybe the dancer will come and thank you and start a conversation---unless the bar is very, very busy and he's got some regular on the line. Don't get discouraged---look around, move around and go after anyone who takes you fancy--nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Most of all, have fun in a wonderful city.:9

  • 1 month later...

Sooo, the trip got pushed back a bit, but finally heading up to Montreal this weekend!! And the timing seems to be sweet, with the CAD dropping to almost .80 cents against the USD! So more bang for the buck for us long suffering Americans :9

Thanks to the advice above, I'll be spending big $$ on Leo and Eddie (that's if they are working this Sat and Sun night). If not, I'm sure I'll find some other guys in Stock who live up to the Montreal guys that used to visit the Gaiety in the "good old days"...

Since it was mentioned that Montreal escorts give better privates than the dancers, I looked on Rentboy, but I have to say the pickings are less than slim. Hopefully by spending enough time on Sat and Sun, I'll be able to charm a guy or two back to my hotel for some one on one fun!

I'll report back to the forum upon my return stateside next week.

Thanks LD, I'll watch out for them both!

What is the best time to arrive? Due to prior commitments on Sat and Sun evenings, I won't be able to show up before 10 or 11pm. Are things still going to be happening at such a late time or are they just getting started? :9

Is Sunday just as busy/interesting as Sat? If not, I'll have to do my best to find some hot guys on Sat to keep me going through the weekend...

For Stock, arriving after 10pm or 11pm is better if you like to find

a busier club on Saturday. For Sunday, however, the odds are you won't

find a crowd no matter the time of night (unless it's a holiday weekend with the holiday falling on Monday.) From recent observation, Montreal seems to party hard on Friday and Saturday nights and retire early on Sundays.

On my last trip (August,) Campus was empty after 8pm and I never spent

more than 30 minutes there after the afternoon cast departed.

Have a good time. (And I agree with the Mick recommendation. Short, but quite well put together :p )

I agree with MTLover, 10pm is probably the best time to arrive if you like a busy club - which I do. The atmosphere is much better when it's busy, though the downside is it can be harder to get the attention of dancers, particularly ones that are good at working the crowd and getting private dances. It starts getting a quieter after midnight as people start going home or onto other places, but there will still be plenty of dancers around.

If you could make Friday, I'd say go then rather than on a Sunday. Based on my experience, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the best nights. Thursday is quieter than Friday and Saturday but there's still a reasonable crowd.

I arrive Sat. evening, so no chance for Friday. I'll just have to work "hard" on Sat night to keep me going throughout the weekend. I had a feeling Sunday might be a miss, but I still might show up anyway, just to see a quieter night. Is it that dead, or do some of the better guys at least?

I havent been to montreal in a number of months, but from my experience, Sunday night has only a handful of dancers, and if lucky, as many customers..The up side to that is that if there is a dancer you take a fancy to, you will have much more of his undivided attention.

I say definitely stop in..try 10pm and if it is empty with no one to your liking, walk down Ste. Catherines for a litte bit and try again closer to 11..It seems that Canadians dancers, much like American Drag queens, have their own sense of time.

I'd say make a night of it on Saturday (be ready to stay up late and don't any time waste time going to Campus or L'Adonis) and if there are good dancers on Sunday, that's a bonus.

You might want to try Campus on Sunday afternoon if you get the chance. Many think Campus is much better in the day than the evening.

To expand slightly on zipperzone's response, you'll no doubt need those documents and a lot of patience. At peak travel times, the lines going either way, into or out of Canada, can be hours long on the major entry highways (like the Northway from New York(.

I agree that the lines going into Canada can be very long, especially at busy entry points. If you are going north through the Champlain point on the New York Northway, you might want to investigate getting off the Northway and taking the Rouses Point checkpoint---check out a map or map quest. I don't remember the exact exit number but I think it comes about a mile or so BEFORE the last exit. It may be a little out of your way, and you are traveling on back roads, but the wait is considerably shorter. If you are interested, give me a chance to check on my maps.

a brief review with more to come...

I headed straight for Stock arriving around 11 and staying until just before 3am. I had privates from Anthony, Kevin, Michaud and John. Michaud and Kevin were def. my highlights. Then I met a Michaud's brother (didn't get his name) who had just started working at Stock the previous night. We had a private and he was very nervous and also didn't get fully nude. I was going to take on of the dancers back to the hotel for a private (won't say who to protect privacy), but he had to leave suddenly, so I had another, longer private with Michaud's brother to see if I could warm him up a bit ;-) While he still didn't get fully nude, it was worth the second try. He's got the best body (and completely tattoo free, which appears to be a rarity at Stock) I've seen and felt in a long time and a very sweet, somewhat shy nature.

The dancer I was going to have a private with texted me today and offered to come and see me late this afternoon, but I already had plans, so I'm returning to Stock tonight to see what the much quieter Sunday night has to offer.

More soon!

Leo was on my wishlist Hoover, but unfortunately he didn't show at Stock on that weekend. But it didn't matter, as there was so many great guys there and I had an amazing time.

To continue from my last review, I arrived around 9pm on Sunday and the place wasn't too quiet, with a good number of the same dancers from Sat night performing. I had a private with a dancer who was very much my type (tall, blonde, built, minimal tattoos and a huge, hot cock, not to mention a great smile and attitude). Well I got more than I bargained for let me tell you!! Let's just say that his level of interactivity was VERY high and it was an extremely passionate and fulfilling encounter. He was hard as a rock throughout and determined to get me off :9 After that I pretty much spent most of the night talking with other customers, the very good looking waiter (who doesn't dance but is hotter than most of the guys on stage) and generally had a great night.

I checked out Campus, which had Ladies night and it was a totally different scene. The dancers were not nearly as hot, the atmosphere was really sleazy and I got out of there as quickly as poss.

My only misstep of the night was taking a dancer back to my hotel who I hadn't had a private dance with. While he got hard and allowed oral, he was very disinterested and ended the session very abruptly, and without any satisfying "ending". He was also way overpriced, but luckily the Canadian $ plummeted while I was there, making it about the cost of a high end session here in the US. I wasn't too disappointed because I was aware that I was taking a risk, but the dancer I planned a private with disappeared (the same dancer who had flaked the previous night) and I really wanted a hotel private to end the trip with.

I collected a bunch of numbers and next time I head back there, I'll have plenty of great guys to choose from. All in all, I preferred Stock to the Gaiety (the guys were more interactive and friendly) and look forward to returning. I might even fly that blonde stud down here for a weekend :7

thanks for all your invaluable tips!!
