"I'll be in Phoenix for one night this week and would like to visit Dick's. But do they permit smoking? I would hate to have my clothes reek."

What a stupid post and even more stupid question.

Would you really not go to the place in question - and you say you're "only in town for one night" - because the allow smoking and "your clothes might reek" ???

what a silly queen!

Boy, rentingdad, you sure are quick to put someone down for not wanting to be around cigarettes. I don't either, and I avoid it as much as I can. If this guy wants to give up a night at Dick's because of cigarettes, that is his choice and you really have nothing to say about it.

You are right. If I were in town for one night and REALLY wanted to see something, I wouldn't let a little smoke stop me but it would make me seriously decide IF I wanted to see something. Any business or production that has a no smoking policy has a MUCH better chance of getting my business than one that does not.

I do go into casinos periodically for an hour or two of gambling regardless of the smoke but always hate the smoke during and after and probably leave sooner because of it. Either that or I run out of money. :)

Best regards,

KMEM

I wouldn't either, but some people might. Why call them silly if that is their choice? Maybe strippers aren't that high of a priority. Other factors weighing in plus smoking could change the decision.

Take Club 20. Yes, I want to see it, but, I don't want to be extorted or harassed by aggressive dancers. I'll put up with that but if you add smoke, I might not.
