I was told that this Sunday is the 3 year anniversary of the 20 Club Sundays.

So much has happened in the past 3 years but it seems like yesterday that the 20 Club opened for the first time.

It was a crazy weekend, dancers from out of town were in for the opening, Splash still had there "Man on Man" show on saturdays, the Buff Boyzz were still at Heaven.

Eddie Eddie Eddie did his first ever show in the USA at Splash and afterwards decided to visit the limelite. It was a crazy night. I recall the 6 am phone calls of him being kicked out of his "safe place to stay".

Through it all the guy we call "Yahoo Joe" has made it.

Weird, manager after manager promoter after promoter but Yahoo Joe still flys in from other countries to make sure the show goes on. Hmmm, I think we should give him an award!!!

3 years and still standing !!

Maybe Rendie can bake a cake ?

As for Eddie his star powers have kept him on top at Stock Bar and now Play Girl.

Hmmmmm, no cake. I heard Mr. Z. was going to bring it! ;)

As for 20C, it's seen better days. Most of the dancers there now are not worth the $20 dances, sorry. :(

Last Sunday, even though I never got any cake, there was a rare exception dancing and I really enjoyed my dessert! :9

I miss David, Jonathan V., and the like! Now those were fun guys to hang out with!

:( :( :(

Hopefully at tonight's 20 Club show, management (not the dj) will give a BIG thank you to all the patrons who have supported this club over the past 3 years. Without us and daddy's reviews they wouldn't be around today. Most of the patrons who attend are readers of either this site or muscleservice.

So, to the 20 Club, best wishes on your 3rd Anniversary and good luck in the future. Coop

To think I was there at the creation . . . [and have been mostly grousing ever since]. Unfortunately Taz, I think Eddie was part of the problem. I mean after Eddie, there was only one way Club 20 could go; and, with few exceptions, it has met that expectation. But we few, we loyal posters all, have formed a cadre that can endure all that Joey foists upon us and that the goons - recently departed - try to stop. And when it gets too bad we fall back on reveries of the old days at Gaiety (of blessed memory) and of its dancers. There Rocha, Trevor, Ray, Devon and the rest will never age.

As bad as some may deem it, I appreciate that Club 20 has brought a few of us together as something other than anonymous posters on a web site. So to Cooper, Taz, Rendie and the rest of my new friends, Huzzahs and happy anniversary to us (and to Club 20)!

Hear, hear, I'll drink to that!

For sure, hanging out with you and all my other good friends is the best part of going to 20C! May it last forever!

I won't be going tonight as I'm on only day 1 of a much postponed 14 day detox and cleanse.

I don't think I was there for the first night, but I was there for a few of the early parties. It was a bit hit and miss back then too. I liked Machine, who I knew from Splash, and he was always inventive in the Champagne Room.

There have been others two that I've liked, some who don't come very often, and some who are there a little too often that their familiarity becomes wearing.

Overall, I think it is an important addition to our nightlife options, and I raise a glass (water, I'm detoxing) to the Club's anniversary and to continued success.

RE: 20Club and the Hooville celebration

As Taz said last night, "where do I begin"...

First off, it was great seeing so many Hoovillians at the 20 Club. If it wasn't for us, there would be no 3rd year anniversary celebration. So, a BIG over due thank you goes out to the men of Hooville who regularly attend the 20C. Not only do we support the dancers and owner but our money goes to support the management and staff that works there. However, greed rules that club not professionalism so don't expect anyone working there to understand that.

It wasn't a stellar lineup, mostly the same ole, same ole dancers, however, many of us were able to find someone to satisfy our needs. Thanks to the complaints made by the men of Hooville, the lights in the lap dance area are dimer and the security gorillas are history. However, the question remains, why were the curtains removed from the $150 champagne rooms?

It obvious that a certain type of dancer will succeed very well at the 20C. A relatively new dancer named Andre was very active most of the night. So active that men were lining up to take him into the champagne room. Andrea is a youthful, good looking blond with blue eyes, flashy smile showing his pearly white teeth, and a medium muscular build. If more dancers looked like Andre the club would be making out like bandits. Question is, where do you find more dancers like Andre?

It's sad to see some dancers, who used to be very popular with the customers, now standing/sitting around waiting to do a lap dance. There certainly was no shortage of customers. With Monday being a holiday, the club had a good turn out.

As for the fun-seeking Hoovillians, it was good company and great conversation. If anyone is looking for a NYC recommendation, this is the group to talk to.

RE: 20Club and the Hooville celebration

Coop, for traveling hoovillians who may drop in, perhaps we should advise that an ever changing cadre of hoovillians usually hangs out in the semi-circle of club chairs that backs up to the lap dance area which is at the rear of the club toward your left as you enter - three steps down from the bar area. If you're visiting from out of town or even a local first timer, just come over, share your forum identity and join in the camaraderie.

ps. I predict a great porn future for that Siberian hottie Andre if he so chooses. The term walking viagra comes to mind.

RE: 20Club and the Hooville celebration

Hey guys I know I don't post too often but here goes ...

Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi to anyone but it was very late (12 maybe) so I wasn't there long on Sunday when I got there with fiends Leo and Rusty. The place didn't seem very busy but I was told it was earlier. One former gaiety regulars who recognized me did stop us to say hi but I never got their name. I was glad to see Erie (from Philly) back at the club Sunday and he's starting to look like his old self again. I wish some of the former regulars were back (we all have our favorites) like Gary (hopefully soon), James and Matt (and Rich at the coat check - WOOF - If he would have only danced at the club what guns he has). I did see Jay and Brad who used to dance there a while back the week before but it didn't seem like they were coming back anytime soon. If you are a regular go up to Joe or Ed (the mgr) and tell them who you want to see back but money talks so you have to support your guy if they do bring him back.

I agree with Cooper that Andrea is one hot new addition to the club (one of the very few) who also dances at Splash.

Congratulations to the club on 3 years and hopefully future enhancements but I also would like to pay tribute to the former manager Rob (a/k/a Tyler from the Gaiety) who was instrumental opening the club and to whom they owe their start.

PS – I hear that Tony Capucci and another hot guy is supposed to be dancing at Splash sometime next month - T
