And thanks to you guys for the encouragements.. I know that I live vacariously through other people's postings, so I believe in sharing my adventures when I am lucky enough to travel. I hope others will do the same when they come across some fun adventures.. and speaking of fun adventures, April 18/19 is gay pride here in Phoenix, and we are having a little Hoo-MER get together....good company.. trips to Dicks Cabaret, dinner with a couple of dancers/escorts..parade, festival.. look for the thread in the lounge section for more info....

Thanks Lurker for taking the time to compose and post these updates. I’m sorry to hear that Taboo is going down hill. When I was in Montreal last summer many of the boys there performed some beautiful erotic slow dances. Nothing compares to watching a Taboo boy swirling around the pole while sipping a glass of cabernet. Hopefully things there will get better. Maybe our paths will cross in Montreal in the future.

it seems that several of the Taboo boys have migrated west to adonis, but the stage shows there are not as "artistic" as the ones at Taboo.. But remember, there are curtains in the back of adonis.. Very short ones, but curtains none the less.

If you mentioned it earlier I guess I missed it. Is Adonis now charging $10 or $20 for backroom dances with the ‘abbreviated’ curtains? Also thanks for the info on Schwartz’s restaurant/deli. I think I will check it out on a future visit.

Getting the Conversation Flowing

 

The way I hear it, tazmanian himself started tying the Stock dancers rather than continue to spring for more Viagra. It apparently caught on, and now the dancers have learned to tie themselves up. So far, it hasn't spread to the other clubs, but with the economy down, and dicks up, who needs Viagra when you can just tie one on?

I am not going, but you have certainly picked an outstanding weekend to be there, as far as weather is concerned!! It's supposed to be in the mid to high 70's from Friday to Tuesday, so bring along the sandals and shorts---if you are so inclined and please post some appetizing tid-bits for us when you return.

It's back to $12 CAD at Taboo

 

I almost forgot.. Adrien, the Adonis dancer from last nite, was telling me his version of why Taboo is on a downswing..

He said that one of the two owners bought the other one out. And now the owner doesnt want to be the "twink" club. He fired several dances for being too thin, too fem. He also started making some strong demands on the boys such as telling them what to wear, what songs to dance to, etc.

 

According to Adrien, he stopped by there on a recent Saturday nite, and there was a total of 6 dancers.. Plus, the owner upped the charge for dances (no curtains, remember) to $12CAD and then to $15cad. I don't know if those prices are still in effect or not.

 

The price, due to obvious reasons, came down, not to $10 CAD as it should but to $12 CAD again.
