Talk Is Cheap

bighairy, this flurry of wordy posts is refreshing. Having signed up in 2003, you are still listed as a "newbie." Some like myself may speak a lot, but those who speak less often are more likely to be heard when they do. Now, what is your question? (insert smilie)

LOL, okay, my question is really this: After years of being the biggest disappointment in strip bars, is ClubXL/Trixx/2Xcess finally living up to its potential under new management, or is it just having another incarnation as a failed idea?

LOL Lucky, I'm actually quite loquacious, but when I first signed up, could never seem to get activated, so gave up trying. Then a few years later, I tried again, signing up under my nom de Nudemaledancers.com, poolboy, and that would never work either (and still won't). Then, like magic, a post finally worked under this name, and you'll soon grow tired of my posts, which will pretty much just rail with sadness that the nearest US strip club, 2xcess never seems to deliver, no matter what the incarnation. That's what happens to all of us whose standards for strip performances were set high by the Gaiety.

Incidentally, when I first used to try to post, my message always was 'How can you guys all complain so much about the Gaiety, when there's nothing better? Who cares whether the punch is bad?" (Bet all those guys wish they could take back those years of complaining now......)

Cheers.

So where is this 2Xcess, nee ClubXL or Trixx.

In the space formerly occupied by Trixx: 257 Allens Avenue, Providence.

P.S. For bighairy, sorry I don't have any firsthand info on 2Xcess. Hope to get there soon, and report. But FWIW, I didn't find Trixx as bad as you evidently did. My last trip report here (4th post down): http://www.maleescortreview.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=911

Last week I walked by the location of the late Gaiety to see that they have finally built a structure to occupy that space. Heretofore I had only seen the structure go up at the corner where the Howard Johnson's was, not the Gaiety entrance. So it is now officially a ghost of New York past, with new tourists never being aware that it was ever there.
