Your words are too kind and they are appreciated. Thank you. I am such high maintenance and such a complaining Nancy that I am grateful I wasn't deleted in the transition here from analog to digital.

 

Out of the three display modes, I find "linear" makes me more at ease. I wish that was the default setting. The other two choices, for some reason, make me feel angry. I feel like I am looking at German art when I use the other modes.

Cooper is correct, JayNNJ posted on Muscle service that there would be free admission sunday.

Deception at the 20C

 

TippyToe, Welcome to the message center and, yes, you are absolutely correct. It was posted by jaynnj that "admission was free" and many people did enter without paying.

 

At some point between 5-7pm the rules changed. Those who arrived early were let in free without any questions, then, around 6ish, customers were interrogated by the security guard as to whether or not they "qualified" for free admission.

 

If you told the security guard you saw Jay's posts that "admission was FREE", you would be asked to give the name of the b'day boy. If you knew it, you got in free, if you didn't, you were charged a cover.

 

Okay, here's where the mix up occurred. On Muscle Service, Jay's post didn't indicate that you had to mention the b'day boy's name to enter free and that post was copied onto daddy's. However, on MER, Jay did add the following "PS": "Mention Jack Ribas' name, he's the b'day boy".

 

Here's what Jay posted on MER: "Hey guys there's still time to make it to CLUB 20 in NYC to attend for FREE ADMISSION for ALL who are 21 and over and who have a photo ID the time is from 5 Pm- 7 Pm and we will have hopefully over 28 HOT, HOT MALE STRIPPERS WAITING TO PERFORM FOR YOU! We will also hopefully have Body builder KYLE from Kentucky who puts on one hell of a show, Plus there will be Two for One drink specials from 5- 7 Pm , So come and bring along all your male buds with you for a great and fun evening. CLUB 20 is located at 20 W 20 ST in NYC

It was brought to my attention that the original post on MER by jaynnj had been edited by Jay the day after Sunday's event. It originally did not include the sentence that you had to "mention Jack Ribas' name" to enter free. Instead, recognizing his error, Jay edited his post and added that very important information the day after the b'day party. So, for those of you who never knew you had to have a "password" for free admission, you have every right to feel "scammed".

 

Suggestion to Jay: it would be a good idea to reconsider your actions and make good on your word. A message like, "I'm sorry guys, and this is what I can do to rectify the situation....." can go a long way in preserving your reputation.
