Rent... 20C dj was announcing 40 dancers for this Sunday's lineup. As for the newbies, there have been a couple each week. More the slender to medium builds... I'm hoping for a fun and entertaining night. We need some "noise" at that place.

The only limit to Coop's lap dancing (and mine for that matter) is that Club 20 hasn't yet figured out what an ATM in the lobby would do for their business. I'm actually grateful. I'd likely spend the whole Social Security check there with the right set of dancers . . . . .

Just an FYI due to the parade tomorrow 5th Ave will be closed till it's been cleaned up so no parking there till late (7 or 8? maybe). Won't be a problem for me I always get there late .... Maybe 10? Well Club 20 was appropriately lively for Gay Pride weekend. There were reportedly 48 dancers and rather than seemingly too many for an evening, there were probably just about enough because the club was comfortably full for at least the time I was there. Of course getting dancers on stage in some sort of reasonable order was nearly impossible: they were too busy lap dancing! The lap dance area was often completely full (even overflowing on occasion to some of the local club chairs) with a few waiting for a vacancy. Other times it was strangely - if only briefly - empty. Several recent Russian additions to the line-up were especially popular with some of the Hoovillian Posse which was at full compliment (ten or more) including some recent and some distinguished former contributors. Jay - the dance master - introduced the Posse to a young, strapping bodybuilder recently relocated from the left coast (Shawn [?]) who will join the crew in two weeks. Already on hand for the first time was vintage bodybuilder, Sky - with the ass of steel, who seemed to be busy most of the evening. But there was a dancer for every taste and a lot of tastes to try them. One of the Posse who had not visited the Club in months noted how "relaxed" the club had become. This was after he escaped a nearly carnal act in five songs by one of the young Ruskies right in the lap dance area. He had a great time as did we all (I think).

Pride @ the 20C

 

Unless you knew it was Gay Pride, there really wasn't anything special going on at the 20C. Unlike other NYC bars/clubs which advertised Gay Pride parties, it was business as usual at the 20C.

 

There were more than the usual number of dancers but I don't think it was 48. When I asked, I was told 35. Either way, there was a nice assortment and most patrons found more than 1 dancer to occupy their time.

 

The new dancers have been very popular with the regular customers. Two of my favorites from Sunday night were: Adam and Oleg. If you're looking for an erotic lap dance that keeps you wanting more, they will provide. Missing was one of my new favorites Sasha, a blond/blue eyed Russian with a slender build and a shy personality.

 

As G56 mentioned, Jay introduced the posse to Shawn or Sean, a new dancer from LA starting in 2 weeks. He's more mucular and has that universal appeal.

 

Always nice seeing many of the Hoovillians @ the 20C. Finally we got to meet Tonyb, one of our fine contributors to the Strip Club Forum, hope to get better acquainted the next time.... Also, it was good seeing Ed James, Gboy, Pelican, Rendie, Taz, G56, tennisandy, jaynnj, and several men who lurk here or post on muscle service... I find these gentlemen to be a wealth of information on escorts and dancers. They won't steer you wrong.

Club 20 in NYC

 

I'm going to the US Open in September. I also love going to strip bars. Is Club 20 the best/only strip club in Manhattan? Where is it located.

There are plenty of strip bars in NYC. Pick up either of the bar rags (HX or Next) for the offerings. Club 20 is slightly different. It's a club with a stage and lounge chairs around a table. There's a bar and a few waiters (who'll do lap dances if asked). The dancers strip (to g-string at most) on stage then make themselves available for lap dances in similar attire over on the side or to accompany you (for an extravagant price) to a private room upstairs for a short visit.

 

Please note, New York State laws prohibit nudity at any venue serving liquor so you won't see it at either Club 20 (at least downstairs) or at any bar (unless it's really really rowdy). For that we go to Montreal.

Right you are JT. My champagne room curiosity lasted maybe one expensive visit, but I continue to sample the wares downstairs where certain dancers whose lap dances have "moved" you will part with a contact number for a later liaison. I consider a Club 20 visit as shopping and the lap dance as a sort of infomercial. Moreover, I enjoy the company of the "Posse" who in addition to being a bunch of friendly, like-minded guys, act as a sort of Better Business Bureau.

The thinking that MOST Stripper's are Stripper's MAINLY and not "Working Guys" may still hold up?

 

Although the Economy now may be a factor in that changing also. There's not a Big Stretch between "Dancing and Posing" for Muscle Worship where some of the Muscular Bods are concerned! A few of the Gaiety Favs could just about POSE their way around the Stage!

For the most part, that's true JT. But we're there so often that some the dancers have come to feel comfortable about being in our company and are less hesitant to earning a few bucks being with someone they know appreciates their company. The dancers range from Rentboy advertisers, dancers who go from club to club gay or straight doing nothing but to physical trainers and college students working their way through school. And with the economy being what it is . . . . . . .
