A Strip Club Grows in Brooklyn

 

Jay, Glad to hear that Sunday is not the only night for male strip clubs. This place sound like lots of fun. Hopefully, our well known Brooklynite from Hooville will be able to attend and give us a full report.

 

I guess the question many of the regulars are asking, will there be new faces or is this an extension of the 20 Club line up? With the grand opening less than a week away, perhaps you can give us an idea of how many dancers to expect and will there be some new faces in the line up?

Cooper do hope you can make it ! this show will if all goes well be a once a month venue at first and then hopefully turn into a every Thursday night ! event . I can tell you who some of the dancers that are suppose to perform that night but again please keep in mind that the guys some time back out ! in which we unfortunately have no control over. Some of the dancers for Thursday night are ADAM, BRAD, JAY, JOHNNY, VICTORIOUS, CARTER, GERARD and others

The event took place at a neighborhood bar in an industrial part of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Bozo and company began the evening dining at Lomzynianka, a Polish restaurant just a few blocks from the bar that's popular with the locals. Located on bustling Manhattan Avenue, it is an intimate restaurant with a friendly staff, good food, large portions, and very inexpensive prices . Highly recommended if you enjoy feasting on weinerschnitzel, pierogies, blintzes, borscht or kielbasa. What gay man doesn't enjoy a good kielbasa every once in a while? Bozo suggests you get there early as there was a waiting line outside of the restaurant when we left.

 

The show itself at Club Adonis was fine for a first time event at this location. The stage area was small with only 2 tables set up for seating and about 5 or 6 stools by the bar area. Some chairs were brought out later in the evening to accommodate the patrons who were standing. There were some comfy sofas in the back part of the bar where the lap dances were conducted. In the front of the bar there was a spiral staircase which led to a second level that overlooked the main floor. The second level had a few tables and chairs set up which provided anyone sitting there with a nice view of the stage below. Also on the second level was a long narrow corridor where additional chairs were placed up against a wall. Makeshift curtains made of crepe paper were hung between the chairs in the corridor to give the appearance of privacy. Apparently, this was the "VIP" area.

 

Each dancer was on stage for about 10 minutes at a time, and would hop off after being prompted by Jay. A few jumped off on their own when Jay was busy. There were about 12 dancers, many of them hot; however, there was no deejay. To get the dancers' names, we had to engage them in conversation as they circulated throughout the room making their rounds. From what Bozo was told, many, if not most, of the boys were Club20 performers. The first two dancers, Paris and Dean had bodies that looked like they were chiseled out of marble; absolute perfection. Both had dark features and outgoing personalities. There was also a hot gay couple in wrestling singlets who apparently are also Club20 boys. Bozo wishes he could provide more names, but the lack of a deejay kept the dancers anonymous. There was something there for all different tastes: muscle boys, twinks, blondes, Latinos, etc. Tim, a cute, well built, blonde massage boy from Club20 with a perpetual smile was the greeter at the front door collecting the entrance fee. Too bad he kept his shirt on...

 

Jay told Bozo that he hopes to hold a monthly event at Club Adonis. Bozo hopes he is successful. Note to Jay: HIRE A DEEJAY. In the alternative, have the dancers wear name tags, i.e. Hi, my name is ...... Also, look into better stage lighting.

 

Other than the lack of a deejay, Bozo and his table mates enjoyed the evening. Jay did his best to create both a pleasant evening and erotic atmosphere, and by and large, he was successful. Entrance fee was $10.00 and non-alcoholic drinks were only $3.00. Bozo doesn't drink alcohol when he's driving the clown mobile.

 

Bozo arrived back in his circus tent in time to see the sad ending of Game 5 of the ALCS. Let's hope the Yankees can put that tough loss behind them, and come back with a victory this weekend.
