I would guess there are about 10+ dancers on weekend nights. There are VIP booths in the back, In addition to the cover at the door a fee of 10.00 to enter the back and then 150.00 for a VIP booth with a dancer for 30min... Most of the boys make great VIP companions and are happy to accommodate in any way they are able.. I would say Richards is a guaranteed good time

Drinks are served in a 16 oz solo cup . . . and they are pretty stout. That puts them at twice the size of a typical drink. I paid $8.25 for my cocktails. They had a minimum of two shots of liquor in there, and I know of plenty of bars/restaurants where I couldn't get a shot for that price. Drink prices aren't bad.

 

Yes, Richards has private areas and dances . . . a little pricey for those. On weekend nights (i was there both Friday and Saturday) they had 44 and 50 dancers. On Thursday they had 17 dancers.

 

Great time. I'll go back. Contemplating getting tix for NYE (if I don't go to a college bowl game) and coming back to Atlanta specifically for that.

From my experience - there is no touching the boys on stage (or very minimal), but when they come out to the floor, not too much attention is paid by the club employees. Then you go back to the VIP lounge, and there's a lot of touching. I imagine a WHOLE LOT of touching goes on in the VIP rooms, but I have no basis for judgement there as I didn't ever go to the VIP rooms.

Tuesday Night at Swinging Richards...

 

A friend in Atlanta who is a fellow conisseuer of male escorts and strippers, informs me he partook in festivities at Swinging Richards this week (Tuesday night). He reports there were a total of 43 sexy dancers bumping, grinding and taking it ALL off. My buddy says he fell in lust with his favorite: a beautiful Brazilian muscle-boy with a smile full of pearly whites, whose physique is chiseled to Adonis-like perfection. This stripper-God named "Torez" performed butt-naked for my buddy during a three song, 15-minute "lap dance-plus" in Richard's private VIP area.

 

Swinging Richards must be THE place in ATL--especially when there's 43 nude gyrating strippers competing for your attention on a cold Tuesday evening!

I went to Swinging Richard's for the first time last night and had a blast. On Tuesdays, it's no cover night, which makes for some odd dynamics. When I first arrived, I was a bit put off because the place was absolutely packed! All the tables on the floor were taken, and the only seats were a couple of open stools along the wall, with a poor view of the stage. It took about an hour to get a seat at a table closer to the stage. The dancers weren't circulating much, seeming to socialize with just a few patrons whom I assume were regulars.

 

When I finally got my fave dancer to come over to me, I found out why the dancers were so unsociable that evening. Apparently no-cover Tuesdays brings in a big crowd, but the vast majority of them are serious cheapskates. Most come in, grab a beer (drinks are very reasonable for a strip club), kick back and enjoy the show, but won't tip. The dancers were annoyed that tipping was so piss-poor, which is why they were sticking to their regulars. Once I figured out what was behind the weird dynamics, I was able to get into the groove of things and really enjoy myself.

 

I did end up going into the VIP Lounge with a couple of dancers. I told both of them that I'm paying $40 (2 dances) but no more. One gave me the full two dances and then cut it off, no problem. The second gave me about four songs because it was a slow night. It was $80 very well spent. One of the Sean Cody guys (one of the cuter guys on the SC site) was dancing last night, but I didn't get a private with him. Hopefully I get another chance tonight.

 

The overall attractiveness of the dancers was first-rate. Some slim and defined, some more muscled, but none had that skinny with no muscle look that I find a real turn-off. There was even an otter (a lean hairy guy) and a muscle bear. All in all, I give SR's my highest recommendation. It is definitely worth a stop whenever you're in Atlanta. In fact, after dinner with my cousin tonight, I'm racing right back there :D
