Last night was the first time I attended a private event at the Adonis Lounge. I had read some positive reviews and was ready to give it a shot.

 

The club opens at 8pm and dancing starts at 8:30. When I arrived, I was greeted by the manager Tim and a very friendly doorman. The cover was $12 but with the discount coupon available to all members of this site, I got $2.00 off. I was also given a discount pass for the next event.

 

The doorman gave me the grand tour. Showed me where to hang my coat, where the rest rooms were, the area for lap dances, and the champagne room. He said if I had any questions he'd be happy to answer them... I was impressed with this warm welcome.

 

Since the dancing hadn't started yet, I ordered a beer: $5.00 and later a mixed drink: $8.00. I joined my friend "foxy" at a table near the stage and waited with anticipation for the show to begin.

 

The club is average size, with a large sofa area for lap-dances, behind that is the VIP room. There's a small stage with a pole and the tables/chairs are located facing it. There is also limited seating at the bar. The club has a good state of the art lighting and sound system... This location has a lot of possibilities and, as time goes on, I'm hoping to see more privacy in the lap dance area and putting the balcony to better use, (currently used as a changing area for dancers). Also, it would be nice to have some bar snacks available.

 

One of the first dancers to perform was JR. Unlike other clubs, these dancers enter stage for their 1st song wearing only their skimpy and revealing bikini briefs. JR was amazing. He's good looking, with a nice solid muscular build, very enthusiastic, and sported a user friendly huge-n-thick boner (size queens will love him and bottoms will cry out for more!). As his 2nd song began, he whips out this monster cock and begins to pleasure himself to a point where I was saying to myself "shoot, shoot". There were over a dozen dancers working. The range was from twink to muscle. The friends I was with all found some dancers that captured their attention.

 

Last night Buffdaddy worked the club as co-promoter/mc and brought with him some of his famous buffboyzz. Nice additions to the lineup. Buffdaddy, as the professional he is, made everyone feel comfortable and important. He adjusted the volume of the music just right and clearly announced each dancer. Throughout the night there was always a dancer on stage... I'm hoping this combo of Tim and Buffdaddy works. They are both dedicated to making this club succeed and providing us guys with some alternatives to male strip clubs in NYC. These men truly understand what we are looking for when attending a strip club. The motto here should be "yes we can"...

 

As the night went on more and more customers arrived and, by the time I left, the place was almost packed.

 

The next event will be Thursday, February 18th. Since I had such an enjoyable time, I definitely will return. There were a few Hoovillians in attendance but I'm hoping to see and meet more at the next event.

I'm thousands of miles away at the moment and this may be the last minute but I'm hopping all my friends in NYC will turn out for this function tonight and bring a friend. No one, not the legendary Denise of Gaiety, nor the functionaries at Club 20 nor any of the bars offering similar entertainment has worked harder to give us the show that we want. They deserve our loyal support. If the Adonis Lounge fades away it will be our fault. Besides I want it to be around 3/18 when I get back to NYC.

Surprisingly, one of the highlights of tonight's well attended party wasn't a dancer but the handsome young man at the door. His name is Will and, thanks to some determined customers, he joined the party and delighted a few patrons with some pleasurable lap dances... Hopefully, he'll be at the next event held on March 18th and this time as a dancer.

As a follow up, there were about a dozen dancers. Sadly, J.R., the one with the 9" cock, was (once again) a no show as were Benny and Carter. However, Johnny, "Mr. Next Cover Boy", was there as well as a few others not already mentioned... Good range of body types... And, from my count, Tim (dancer/manager) was perhaps the busiest dancer of the night. He has quite a following and, if you know him, you'll understand why... I also noticed a lot of younger patrons in attendance, the type who like to party later in the night. When I arrived at 8:30 there were only a handful of customers, however, by 11pm, you couldn't find a seat.

 

Some constructive criticism... If you advertise that dancing starts at 8:30 try to achieve it... Encourage your dancers to be on time... Look for new faces, perhaps the reason why some customers were more interested in the handsome new door man than the regular dancers... If a customer is not doing a lap dance, do not permit him to sit alone in the lap dance area getting off on those of us doing one.
