Before the Palm Springs Bad Boys Pool Party last spring, the staff & stars were a little down because the weather had been a bit iffy leading up to the party. As soon as Irene Soderberg started her sound check with "It's Raining Men", the whole mood of the place changed abruptly. It was time to party!

Less than 12 hours ago, I was reading an article that said Clint Eastwood was 72. I was astounded, not because it was so surprising, I guess, but because I always think of him as being about 45.

 

I guess we could all do worse than age as well as he has.

I am actually picturing Clint Eastwood circa his campaign for mayor of Carmel, when he appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and charmed everyone with his wit, intelligence and clear abilities....

 

I am not sure how old he was at the time but Johnny retired about 12 - 13 years ago, no?
