The front page has a section "new rentboys in [given city]".

But since you mention logging in, I assume you've created an account. (It's free and completely optional.) Once you've logged in, you can scroll through the rentboys in your locale and give them a rating, or block those in whom you are not interested. You won't have to scroll those ads you've blocked ever again, and can sort your search result by the ratings you've given.

Now here's the part you're looking for: you can also search for escorts whom you haven't rated, i.e. new listings. I like to stay on top of the listings for NYC, a daunting task made infinitely easier by blocking those ads I'm not interested in, rating those that I am, and searching for those I've yet to rate-- new listings since the last time I've logged in.

Hope this helps.

While we are on rentboy searching, I can't get the search feature on rentboy reviews to work. It will search an entire city but when I use the feature that allows you to search for a word, I always get an error message.

Anyone else have the same trouble?

Sorry to be slow on the uptake, but how does one rate an escort on Rentboy?

Not at all; glad you asked.

Log into your account and search for your guys. Your result will give 20 or so ads per page. Toward the upper right corner of each ad is a series of gray stars. Place your cursor anywhere on these stars (I think they've told me there are something like 88 gradations) and click. Voilà, that guy will now show 2.5 stars out of three (for example). You can also click on the 'block' icon on the bottom right of the listing and never see that ad again. (Don't worry, you can always remove guys from your block list later on.)

Next time you do a search, you won't see those guys you've blocked. You can sort your search by your ratings, or you can search only for those ads you have not yet rated (i.e. new listings).

Keep in mind that ratings are internal to your profile; you're not rating him for others to see à la M4RN. Also, if you want to see everybody in your city whether you've blocked them or not, you can always log out of your account and search that way.

Ask again if any of this doesn't make sense.
