corner pocket update

Not much new to report on this New Orleans landmark place which I have visited once or twice a year for a decade or more. There is generally nice Southern hospitality from the bartenders - hard to believe that Anthony (young and cute) even remembers what I drink. The dancers vary from muscled to twink and everything in between. Though many have had drug and other problems, I believe the Pocket tries to screen the dancers to keep the serious troublemakers away. About half of the guys will talk to you about getting with you back at your hotel and the rest are students or others really just there for a part-time job. I have had luck meeting interested guys there playing pool in the late afternoons but it was a bit dead this time, till the dancing started to 9 or so. It is dumpy like most French Quarter bars and does not offer lap dances, private booths etc. Plenty goes on in the corners and rear of this often packed place. The only real problem is the smoke.

The last two times I enjoyed New Orleans, I enjoyed the Corner Pocket. Last year, I ended up meeting a wonderful dancer from Baton Rouge who was nicely muscled. Got plenty of play time with him!

 

This year (during Mardi Gras), met three dancers that I had a wonderful time with all weekend and Lundi and Mardi Gras. The one I spent the most time with was in visiting from Nashville but he is in NO for all the major events. He has a nice body (not a bodybuilder by any stretch), cute face and an incredible schlong. More importantly, he's super sweet and lots of fun. We enjoyed the back corner of the bar for a good couple of hours!

One of my fantasies is to spend a few days in NO and meet up with some guys for hours of fun times. Hope it happens someday! Love the guys next door and college types!

Been there a few times. The selection is mostly twink. The boys are pretty friendly in general. The dancer I like most, Ryan, usually blows me off no matter how much I tip him. He started doing porn recently, so not sure how much he is around but he was featured on several of the ads for Corner Pocket. I find Ty to be nice and friendly but he forgets who I am from one night to the next. Dan is another favorite.. who actually remembers me the next night (lol). I also like Andy who is NOT a twink. They charge a $5 cover on the weekends etc.

 

Anyways, it's a generally friendly place and you can have a good time. The only two knocks I have against it are 1) The smoke kills me there and 2) Some of the dancers I have no interest in at all can be somewhat aggressive/pushy for tips.
