The boys at the pocket are very cute and some of the bartenders very nice. I noticed that during Decadence, one of the busiest weekends of the year, the owner of the Pocket doubled the cover charge and upped the price of drinks. Other places of business went out of their way to be hospitable and even offered some sale prices in honor of the large number of gay visitors. My hotel offered very good prices, for example. Perhaps there were reasons for the Pocket's increased pricing other than greed, and it should be noted that this was not the only bar with higher prices.
