Montreal Trip December 6-9

I only started visiting Montreal a couple years ago, so it was long after 9/11. But I always have driven across the border - longest I've ever been questioned was maybe 2-3 minutes. It's almost always the same questions - purpose of the trip, is the car mine, where do I live, what's my occupation, how long am I staying, am I bringing anything in, etc. In my probably 8 or 9 trips, I've never been searched.

 

And thx for the tips regarding ATMs... I've always wondered how the rates of exchange varied.
