Oh boy, I hesitate to post this because I reveal myself to be a PT Barnum special, but I write about my experience to prevent anyone else from falling into the same trap. I went to Share tonight, a Monday night where you can either get free well drinks from 10 pm to midnight, or if you're not drinking well liquor (Johnny Walker Black didn't qualify), it's 2-for-1. After tossing back my 2nd double Johnny Black rocks (mind you, I don't go out drinking much, so I don't hold my drink well), I was mesmerized by one of the go-go dancers. OMG, his underwear was made of some impossibly sheer material that, while not transparent, clung so revealing to his package as he danced that almost nothing was left to the imagination. He chatted me up and informed me that a private dance, where I could at least see his equipment, was $40 upstairs. Well, hot dang, that sounded like a bargain! As soon as we were upstairs, the price somehow became $50. Sheesh, since I wasn't going to quibble about ten bucks, I forked it over. OK, I get to see the "Magic Wand" that mesmerized me downstairs, right? Oh no, for that, we need to get a private booth, which would be another $30. Since I didn't have exact change, it ended up costing me another $40. But at least I get to see the goody package! I handed over the two $20s, we got into a booth which had a semi-see-thru black mesh curtain, and ... package stayed firmly inside the underwear. I couldn't even get a peek. The dancer told me that if I tipped him an additional $20, as I was slipping it into his tantalizing undergarments, I just might get a peek at the goods.

 

Yes, it took me this long to figure out, through the haze of two double scotches, that I had been had. Ninety bucks, and all I got was the very occasional chance to grope this dancer's package from outside of his underwear (a single gets you more action in most other go-go bars). PT Barnum was surely guffawing in his grave. But if nothing else, I'm hoping that my experience warns any other inebriated (God forbid you fall for this BS whilst sober) homo horndog away from Share. Yes, the dancer was scorching hot. Yes, they have "private booths." But don't expect sh*t once you get in there. The standard price is $100 for 15 minutes or $600 (yup, you read that right) for an hour. I don't name the dancer because I'm pretty sure that no matter which dancer or what price level you go for, your experience will be the same. Las Vegas laws are extremely strict about full nudity (and forget anything beyond that) anywhere alcohol is served.

 

But if you're just looking for a fun place to dance or hang out, Share is great. The go-go dancers are hot, the DJ plays good music, the staff is super-nice, and the space is nice. Just don't go upstairs, where the (not-)private booths are. As a strip club, Share is what is known in Las Vegas as a clip joint, a place where much is promised in "privates," the dancers "clip" a customer of his money, then deliver little if anything.

Don't feel bad BSR...been there done that. I think after a few shots of Whiskey, we tend to do about anything. I can't count the number of times I have dropped a few hundred dollars over the course of the night on 'lap dances' only to wake up the next morning to open up the ol wallet, only to see moths fly out...hey you live and learn. LOL

 

 

Most these stripper clubs or dance clubs is a hustle...I now tend to only take a certain amount of money with me, and never an ATM card of any kind, so that when the money is gone, I have to leave.

Some Vegas News Anyone?!?- In case you didn't know, Adonis is looking at moving West in 2013, but until we get there we encourage everyone to go to Alpha at Share Nightclub in Las Vegas. Alpha Thursdays is the only Muscle Party in Las Vegas and rumor has it they have learned a thing or two from us!! You will see a familiar face from Adonis there, as Xavier whips them boys into shape and keeps things running smoothly...and perhaps a bit dirty Alpha will be hosted by former Chippendale Lind Walter (google him boys). Both Lind and Xavier welcome feedback, suggestions, and criticisms once this event begins, as both Alpha and Adonis remain steadfast in our belief that a healthy dialogue between patrons and management is the best way create something special for everyone. The fun starts June 7th.

 

We recognize there are some issue that need fixing and we're up for the challenge!

Back in LV right now. Went to Share nightclub last night to see the Alpha Thursdays talent. This show is only on Thursdays and is marketed as a bodybuilder stripper event. An enormous bodybuilder greeted us upon entry at the front door. He was not one of the strippers but rather seemed to be working security. He had some of the largest biceps I have ever seen. Anyway, we went upstairs (I went with a "date") and were greeted by the beautiful Xavier. Very handsome. Very masculine. Very hairy. I love his look.....and last night he was one of the dancers available even though I understand that normally on Thursdays, Xavier kind of just meets and greets and shmoozes. He said they were short on dancers that night and that was why he was dancing. We were in the club for about 90 minutes and never saw anyone actually dance on the tiny stage they have set-up in the upstairs area. The dancers pretty much just work the room talking with patrons and soliciting lap dances or private dances. Seems there were only 4-5 actual body builder guys there making themselves available. The biggest bodybuilder "dancer" there last night was a cuban guy with dark hair who seemed to be in his mid-30's. I did do some lapdances with him which was just OK. He kept trying to push "extras" on me for additional money. Xavier was by far the best available that night for what I like. Great look, very masculine and an overall nice guy. I did several lapdances with him and he was totally straight forward about the activity available and the price. No constant sales pitch like the cuban guy (whose name I forgot) was giving me. Based on my contact with Xavier, I would not hesitate doing further lapdances or VIP room shows with him. One of the other dancers there had a great body, very short cropped hair, a great butt and what appeared to be a very large package in the pouch of his dancing briefs. I hardly saw him the whole time I was there as he kept getting taken into the VIP rooms for private dances by what appears to be well-known regular customers. The fact that he was always doing privates likely means he does a really good VIP dance.

 

Overall, I like the concept of Alpha Thursdays. I hope they can make a go of it. It never really got busy last night with no more than 10 customers there at any given time. Hopefully this event will really catch-on and become better-attended and then have more dancers. BTW, I understand the LV escort Angel Diablo attends this event as a dancer some thursdays. I was hoping to see him but unfortunately he was not there. Finally, the downstairs part of the club was busier than upstars but still not that active. I kind of expected the downstairs to be busier for a Thursday night.
