Wonderful evening at Boardwalk tonight. There was a great array of dancers, including three stunningly handsome, beautiful twinks - Armando, Jorge, and Ariel. Great fun.

You are right about the bad press for Boardwalk recently. But I was in the neighborhood last night, and so I decided to stop in and see for myself. Part of the difference is certainly the difference between any two experiences at a strip club - they vary from evening to evening. But last night was certainly a very good night for any stripper bar. The unappealing drag queen (probably "Auntie Mame") is there only occasionally; she "entertains" at other bars all over South Florida; she was not there last night. She is a local celebrity.

 

Boardwalk has the best space of any gay bar in Fort Lauderdale, with two stages and two platforms for dancers to perform and be seen on. It is attractive and well decorated and fairly light; nothing sleazy here. There were ten dancers at 8:30 when I arrived and twenty by 9:15; a few more arrived later. The mc was first a young man who also danced and then a youngish, attractive, and pleasant drag queen who spoke very clearly. There was nothing wrong with them and they were quite adequate and did not try to overuse the microphone. The sound level for the music was not bad.

 

There was considerable variety in the dancers, but all for the good. There were no unappealing dancers. At the one end of the spectrum were the three big muscular guys. Two of them were very handsome, beautifully proportioned, and tall; one looked like a model; the third was kind of stocky. Most of the rest were swimmer types and in their early twenties. None were Black last night. A few were a little fleshy around the waist. But there were six or seven very nice twinks. The stunners, however, all arrived at 9:00. Armando is gorgeous, Cuban, fairly tall, smooth skin, beautiful face, swimmer's developed body beautifully proportioned. He speaks English well and was fun to talk with. My two favorites, however, were the brothers Jorge and Ariel from Cuba. They did not speak English very well, but they were so cute and beautiful and handsome and fun, that it didn't matter much. Both were loaded with personality and charm and exuded sensuality. Both had swimmer's builds and beautiful, totally smooth brown skin. Jorge had a lovely ass as well, which he was aware of. I enjoyed both of them very much.

 

Other twinks included Corey, who is currently wearing his hair a little long, although it is a beautiful dark honey color. Enera (?) was a handsome young man from Cuba who looked a little dour while dancing, but was charming, warm, cute and fun, when he stopped to talk and play with me at the bar. Evan was from Montreal and has danced at Campus; he was very white; he must never go to the beach. He was pleasant and friendly. Tiger, from Brazil, was well built and well endowed and enjoyed chatting and playing at the bar. Nice sense of humor and gorgeous ass.

 

The atmosphere was pleasant and warm. There was a nice crowd. There were no pests among the dancers. No one bothered me, but all the dancers circulated, and it was easy for me to meet and play with all the dancers in whom I was interested. The dj's were quite pleasant. It was a very enjoyable evening in a very nice gay stripper bar. Certainly last night was a delightful evening at Boardwalk in every way, and I would recommend it highly. My experiences last night were all good.

 

If you don't already know, the location is central in a pleasant rather quiet neighborhood; there is lots of free safe parking; there is no cover charge before 9:00 p.m. and then $5.00 (a little more on weekends and more when ChiChi LaRue appears, as this weekend, or other porn stars attend). Drinks are moderate in price. There is a restaurant and bar outside at the front of the building, which serves good dinners and sandwiches and snacks at reasonable prices. It is well appointed, and last night, with temperature in the upper 70s and a light breeze, it was very pleasant to sit among the palms, have a drink, and chat. It is not noisy here.
