Perhaps with "premium" memberships but if you're just looking at the site (like the VAST majority) of people without a membership you will NOT see a single negative review of any kind. Period. That's false and fake as far as I'm concerned.

I agree but all the sites are false and fake. At least massagem4m gives you an option to see the truth.

Those Alleged Reviews have always been 99% Useless! Unfortunately IF your a Massage Guy it's very easy for someone to Trash you for whatever reason!

Hopefully anyone looking for Massage References can find them on Daddys or it's a Crap Shoot! In NYC "BodyWork" means No License!

There is no connection between reality and those reviews. Pure fiction.....at least in my experience.

I agree. Several erotic massages I've received in no way reflect the positively-embellished experiences described in the masseurs' reviews. In fairness, however, I've also had several superior massages from guys well-reviewed on the M4M site. In my opinion, if you're hiring based solely on the M4M ratings/reviews, it's a total crap shoot.

as an advertiser with them I must honestly say that I find the site VERY difficult to deal with and confusing. They won't allow you to post nudes but instead make guys PAY to see them in a special section AND YET they allow you to post the direct link to your rentmen or rentboy ad which the client can click and go to for free and see all of you. If the site were run with the professionalism of rentmen.com it would be a far better venture. I have gotten some good clients from them but in my experience many (maybe most) of the ads are fraudulent and misleading. Have heard dozens of horror stories from clients who have hired from there. also, and this is just a question.....aren't guys who advertise and use the word, "Massage," supposed to be state liscenced??? How do they avoid that. I was never asked for my liscence when I first posted my ad. For the record I am an LMT but mostly only escort these days because, let's be honest a good massage should run you 60 to 80 an hour- not 200. Therin I think lies the confusion with massagemen4men???? Is it an escort site or a massage site? Do even the owners know? http://www.rentmen.com/mikeyusatop

I think it's unfair to write a bad review based on a single experience

I only need to watch a movie once to know whether it sucks or not. One bad haircut with a new hairdresser is all it takes to never go back.

I understand there are many employees in the kitchen contributing to my pleasure at a restaurant. But a massage therapist is a single person, the only person providing the service. I see no reason why, if the first-time massage sucks, the service provider doesn't deserve a negative review. Perfectly fair, IMO.

It's impossible to trust any written words on a web page written by anonymous individuals. It's much easier to trust the honesty of an escort who lists his HIV status in his ad.

I agree with this. As a potential client you can decide if the therapist was having a bad day based on their response to the review or the review itself. However, if there are consistent bad reviews over the same issues, which by the way, are viewable with a premium membership on Massagem4m, then you are better able to make an informed decision to avoid.

Again, the review you write is about YOUR experience, not the masseur or massage therapist's career as a whole. If you had a bad experience, the provider and his client base should know. How else are therapists to be held accountable and improve if every inadequate session is chalked up to them having a bad day?
