I don't mean to be insulting but did you really write creamed chipped beef on toast? Do you know that the US military universally calls that shit on a shingle? I realize some people like it but once one knows what it is called, I think it makes it a little more difficult to do so. :)

Best regards,

KMEM

I believe it asked for a "guilty" pleasure, did it not? As another poster mentioned, Stouffer's makes a good frozen variety and my homemade recipe is even better. When placed on a nice slice of toast made from fresh rosemary bread it is quite good. Try it someday.

So far, no one has topped my Vienna sausage sandwich, so to speak.

I have to admit, KMEN, that I too am guilty of liking this in my younger years as my parents often served it (both parents were veterans), and it was always found in our freezer for too many nights when no one thought ahead to plan a meal. It is the same as people from PA confessing they enjoy eating SCRAPPLE (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). or even more strange was my Dad's preference to often have Welsh Rarebit on Toast (which I also liked, a sort of mac and cheese without all the mac).

Of course, today, after being badgered for 2 decades about "healthy" this and that, these are secret cravings that I rarely - if ever can satisfy anymore.

As originally stated I did not intend to insult anyone and I fully realize that there are different foods out there and somebody likes every one of them:) I am sure the "worst' thing about this dish is the nickname for it. :)

Best regards,

KMEM

How could I have forgotten scrapple?! With a fried egg on top, a delicious breakfast. Un-fortunately, I have never seen it in a supermarket outside eastern Pennsylvania.

Waiting for paint to dry...

1. Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon?

Yes. And, once, I drove through it in a convertible completely stoned. Much fun.

2. You've won a cash prize. Would you rather have $10,000 in a lump sum or $1,000 a month for a year?

I'm not an instant gratification kind of guy. Several lovers have said I make a great lover because I long to savor the special moments. It's a well known fact, the more money you receive at one time, the faster you will spend it. I don't view $10,000 as a lot of money, so I don't see much harm in receiving it whole. But if I won the lottery (which I've never played), I'd opt for monthly checks and stipulate my son as beneficiary in my will.

3. Do you have a PC or a Mac?

Both my office and my home are cross platform. All product development is done on a Mac and then tested on a PC.

4. If you were offered $10 million to go into exile and never return to the U.S., would you? And where would you go to live if yes?

If part of the agreement included citizenship (I have no desire to ever stop working since I love what I do and can do it anywhere), I'd be quite content to live in Italy and/or France. As long as I'm older when I go, 10 mil (plus the money I currently have) should be just fine.

5. What's your favorite musical act (solo or group)?

I know too many professional musicians personally to answer this question fairly. I will say, of all the pop acts I've seen live, Celine Dion's performances have been consistently the most exhilarating for me. Second to Celine, Luther Vandross.

6. Have you ever had sex with a guy in his office or your office?

Many times.

7. Are you going to see the new Dark Shadows movie?

It's gotten good reviews, and I love Eva Green. I hear she makes the movie worthwhile. Probably won't see it in a theater, but will see it in the comfort of my home.

8. Surf or turf?

Love it all.

9. Have you ever been to Indiana?

Many times.

10. What's your guilty pleasure meal/snack?

Fresh foie gras. Artisan chocolate ice cream. Home-made chocolate-ship cookies made with Callebaut chips.

- PC

4. If you were offered $10 million to go into exile and never return to the U.S., would you? And where would you go to live if yes?

- Michael Buble

I've seen it in a specialty grocer in northern California. Frozen, not fresh.

1. Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon?

- No. Maybe/hopefully one day.

2. You've won a cash prize. Would you rather have $10,000 in a lump sum or $1,000 a month for a year?

- Not a huge difference between the two so I would probably take the lump sum and go on a great vacation somewhere, first class all the way.

3. Do you have a PC or a Mac?

- PC

4. If you were offered $10 million to go into exile and never return to the U.S., would you? And where would you go to live if yes?

- Sure, I can be happy most anywhere I hang my hat and can hire escorts. Love London so maybe there, or somewhere in Ireland or some tropical island. It would be a fun process to find some place.

5. What's your favorite musical act (solo or group)?

- Moody Blues

6. Have you ever had sex with a guy in his office or your office?

- Nope

7. Are you going to see the new Dark Shadows movie?

8. Surf or turf?

- Really love both. If I had to choose one, I would say turf.

9. Have you ever been to Indiana?

- Never. Is there anything interesting to see there?

10. What's your guilty pleasure meal/snack?

- Toss up between smoked oysters and fois gras.

6. Have you ever had sex with a guy in his office or your office? Nope, never have.

1. Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon?

YES - including a helicopter tour and have flown over the GC dozens of times and still take a moment to ponder the overwhelming scale and beauty of it all every time I do it ... probably no less than 50 times and once again on Thursday - and so welcome the thrill of it ! Second only to flying a few hundred feet over the highest peaks of the Canada Rockies.

2. You've won a cash prize. Would you rather have $10,000 in a lump sum or $1,000 a month for a year?

HMMMMMMM - this is a tough one ??? And London is a fantastic gateway to so much of Europe but just to damn expensive to live in !

5. What's your favorite musical act (solo or group)?

1. Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? Once, decades ago. I live in Las Vegas now, the Grand Canyon is an easy weekend trip, but I don't really have the desire to return.

2. You've won a cash prize. Would you rather have $10,000 in a lump sum or $1,000 a month for a year? Lump sum and I'd put it on black. Just kidding, monthly installments -- two grand doesn't grow on trees!

3. Do you have a PC or a Mac? Spent big bucks on a real fancy 17.3" PC laptop, and it turned out to be worth every penny.

4. If you were offered $10 million to go into exile and never return to the U.S., would you? And where would you go to live if yes? Toronto, where I spent part of my childhood and where I have lots of family, seems like a cop-out kind of answer because I wouldn't be sacrificing much. All the rest of my family and friends in the US could visit me so easily. Outside of North America? $10 million is a heckuva lotta money, so yes. I'd move to Madrid and work to spread the Tea Party movement there.

5. What's your favorite musical act (solo or group)? Willie Nelson.

6. Have you ever had sex with a guy in his office or your office? No, and no interest in doing so.

7. Are you going to see the new Dark Shadows movie? I'm so tired of Johnny Depp. What's up with his schtick of that phony oh-so-Euro accent and acting like English is his second language??

8. Surf or turf? Nothing beats a dry-aged USDA prime ribeye, except maybe a steamed Maine lobster with buckets of real butter (not that drawn stuff, yuck!)

9. Have you ever been to Indiana? I was driving cross-country and was just staying overnight in Indianapolis. I checked out the Unicorn Club and hooked up with a dancer. Stayed in Indianapolis for a week :-D

10. What's your guilty pleasure meal/snack? Doughnuts. Thank goodness there are no really great doughnuts in Las Vegas, or else I'd be one of those 1,000-pound guys who has to be hoisted out of bed by a crane.
