Phoenix and Tucson advice/ hot tea

My Cub, Maverick, and I will be in Tucson on March 19 staying at a place called the Tortuga Roja. The owner sounded like a quite nice man over the phone and seems to run the place a lot like I would were I he. Anybody got any stories about the place?

 

Then the next night, we'll be in Phoenix. I'm trying to talk Maverick into staying at the Arizona Royal Villa, or maybe the Arizona Sunburst Inn, la Casa de Mis Padres or Larry's B&B, depending partly on price, of course. Does anybody know anything about any of those places that would help us decide whether to stay there or not?

 

(Note: I'm only listing here places that are men only, clothing optional and have swimming. I've fantasized about such a place - thought usually out in California - for a while.)
