There is a new evening starting at the Monster - Wednesdays for now, moving to Fridays. No more details on that yet, but I am sure we'll be hearing about it.

There is also BUFF BOYZ on Long Island every Sunday at Show World in West Babylon. That's always fun, but about an hour from Manhattan. (Though worth it!)

So with the sad loss of The Web am I correct in listing the proper strip clubs with private rooms as being:

Adonis (twice weekly - Wed/Sat)

20 Club (Sunday)

Anything else? Did LeBoyz vanish? Is this all the city has to offer now?

LeBoyz died a long time ago. Escuelita, the club that housed the event has been focusing more on straight and private parties these days.

Yes, you are correct, check out Adonis Lounge on Wednesday and Saturday for lap dances and semi-private "rooms." 20C, too, on Sunday's, although they have "champange" rooms...

I am told lap dances at Splash are available, but I haven't been down there in a while and cannot comment personally.

There are go-go boys all over NYC. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one, so take your pick of clubs and bars...XL, Splash, Monster, Industry, Rawhide, G-Lounge, The Cock, Urge, have go-go boy nights or some , 7 days a week. This Yelp site page has about as good as it gets list of all NYC bars offering go-go boys, although some info may be out-of-date:

Two places of interest which the Message Board really needs some personal insight and reviews are The Nowhere Bar (14th St & 2nd Av) which features dancers on Monday nights starting at 11PM. Another bar/club waaaay, way uptown at 4168 Broadway @ 177th St in Washington Heights is No-Parking....

Anybody been????

Check Next magazine on-line for news and information about gay parties and bar events in NYC:

Also, a second bi-weekly magazine, Odyssey, is also available online (It recently featured Vic a former 20C dancer on it's cover. I am told he is now a bartender at XL):

Losing the Web is in many ways equivalent to the loss of the Gaeity. The Web was a throwback to a more licentious New York, with writhing young bodies on display among its many mirrored surfaces. It always managed to maintain a sleazy, yet friendly appeal that most of the newer clubs lack in spades. I liked its subterranean entrance and the balcony around the lower dance floor that was the perfect perch for checking out the nearly naked dancers scattered around the club. The Web never felt like a slick operation, but someplace caught in a time warp. It had a lot going for it.
