The review is as minimal as I've ever read. It appears the two men didn't actually meet. Am I reading that correctly?

AND, this is no criticism of Xander whatsoever.

That bothered me a bit also - it does seem to be at odds with the statement in the FAQs, "Folks, if you didn't eat at the restaurant, I don't think you can write about the sashimi.".

Nice to see the other review with some concrete information about an actual encounter. :)

It is one of the more unusual "reviews". Very surprised this one got through Daddy's review process. And in no way is this meant as a criticism of Xander.

Also, agreee with seeker about seeing the other review.

A restaurant is more than just the food. Very much like how a coffee bar is more than just the coffee (Case and point: Starbucks coffee SUCKS-- yet people go there for the ambience!). I can't really complain about anything good someone has to say about me :)

Its very surprising to see two reviews put up on the same day ... but no complaints :D

I actually saw nothing unusual about it. The reviewer was very clear from what I read, that the encounter did not happen. I think that very often there are lengthy discussions on the forum about how cold or unresponsive escorts are in the initial meeting, this does show a positive side to Xander that might help others make a decision on whether or not to contact him.

As was his very professional response to the "satisfactory" review he received. I feel that his response is further proof that perhaps he is more professional than the reviewer gave him credit for.

We all take different things from reviews. I personally took something very positive from this and I am always impressed when an escort responds positively to my initial contact. I just hired and escort for an upcoming trip. I will be spending a fair amount of money on this little 3 day jaunt. The escort was extremely friendly when he responded to my emails, and had he not responded as such, I might not have gone through with the plans. First contact to me is very important information to have.

I can appreciate what you are saying bvb and I don't disagree that there can be some value to feedback on initial contact. My only question, at least in my own mind, is what constitutes a review that can be posted on the site. If positive experiences with initial contact/correspondence but without an actual meeting is an acceptable criteria for a published review, then I should probably submit some reviews based on various experiences I have had recently. In the same context, negative experiences along the same lines should be valid as well. I just think it becomes a bit of a slippery slope. Just my opinion and in no way meant to be confrontational.

Oh no no, not at all. I didn't look at your post like that, and besides,...I actually liked what you said, and I think without question that you have a valid point. That being said, Daddy does take all reviews VERY seriously, so if Daddy thought it was OK to post, then I am certainly good with that decision, and in that respect, I believe it fair game for anyone to comment on it as they see fit. Just to reiterate for a moment, I think that it is worth noting Xander's response to the satisfactory review, very professional I thought.

When I read reviews, I generally give much more weight to reviews written by established reviewers than to first-time reviewers. This is especially true when the first-timer reviews are scant on specifics, and more so when there are style similarities among the first-time reviews. It's also interesting to note that "buckguy" recently wrote in another thread (the one about Marc Dylan's first-timer "review"): " I had an experience not unlike the one that led to the recent negative review of Xander. Like a lot of younger guys in business (this one or otherwise), he needs to get a better idea of putting the business ahead of everything else. In contrast, gushing doesn't add much unless it's a rare experience in a client's reviews." I wonder if he (buckguy) ever wrote a review with his experience. I find it interesting that a client would be so moved by a contact which never happened to write his first review ever. That being said, I find the review being discussed in this string more plausible than others I've seen (not necessary likely, but plausible).
