Escape in Prague Under Construction

I'd read it on an another board, but my bud who's visiting Prague this weekend confirmed that Escape is closed. Word is they're renovating. The venue itself is fine. It's their lineup that needed renovation the last couple times I went. That place used to be the best spot in the world for me. I love Montreal and Fort Lauderdale, but nothing would beat Escape. The last trip though, there was only one guy who had my attention... the real fun as at Temple (aka Pinnochio back in the day).

Atlantagayguy, I always booked a gay tour guide who might also serve as an escort (though not always) to accompany me to these venues. He would be arm candy that attracted some of the guys I was interested in, knew the language and knew how to navigate one to the club, into the club and to a nice table... it was worth the extra cash, and once or twice, either he helped me procure a guy I wanted and negotiated the fee, or even joined us for a 3-way, or ended up being my hot date after the club. In every case I never went home alone.

You are a smart man! Where do you find these guides/escorts and how much?

I have been a few times now so jeez it's sad... I know my way around better than I do my own hometown. lol Escape is actually pretty easy... it's right off Wenceslaus Square (the big touristy area). It's about a block or two away from the main strip. Definitely worth Google mapping if you're going to go all the way to Prague, you really don't want to miss it! Talked to my buddy again this morning and he said the construction crews were in full force doing the renovations today. He heard from a guy there that some Italian guy bought the place out and it should be back in a month or so.

 

I've never had to get a guide... but it's definitely not a bad idea if it's your first visit. Alternately, strike up a conversation with a local at one of the bars there. Czechs are generally friendly, especially if you try to learn a little bit of the language.

 

The other spot to have fun is called Temple. It's across from the main train station... about a 15 minute walk from Wenceslaus Square/Escape. My buddy went last night and sent me a photo of the guy he had fun with last night... yowza. Kind of a younger Zac Efron looking dude. Ahhh European guys.
