It was a fantastic grand opening and kudos to Tim! The place, the guys, the prices all very appropriate and bodes well for long term survival. My only suggestion and may be minor I admit------ even more seating should be made available since it is a lot of fun to sit and relax and watch the dancing and more easily "scout out" a favorite for a lap dance or two! All in all a great first night.

The New Adonis!

 

It was a fantastic grand opening and kudos to Tim! The place, the guys, the prices all very appropriate and bodes well for long term survival.

 

Everything patrons have been asking for has come true with the new Adonis Lounge location. It's much large than Evolve, the club offers a stage show with front (but limited) seating, has a comfortable size lap dance room, and some of the hottest dancers and bartenders in town.

 

Opening night was a huge success. The place was packed and the lineup included body builds from Taboo twink to Stock Bar muscle. All of the 40+ dancers/porn stars were working in their tighty whities... The location is easy to find. Customers are greeted at the entrance and walk the red carpet and pass velvet ropes to enter. The club is located downstairs and has a separate street entrance. $4.00 coat check and $10 cover... When I entered I was greeted by the manager who showed me where everything was located... Bar will be right in front of you when you enter and immediately you'll see some VGL and friendly bartenders...

 

Dancers do a stage show, no nudity, similar to The 20 Club and are available for $20 per song lap dances or the champagne room.

 

For me it was a fun night and I got to meet many new dancers... Out to churchlady, I did not see JR.

 

Congrats and thanks go out to Tim for all his hard and dedicated work. It all paid off, good time had by all!

Last night the energy was electric to say the least. As this was our first go-around in this space, it was expected that there would be a few glitches. It will take a few weeks to work out all the kinks I'm sure, but we're working on it already. I actually decided to video as much of the construction process as possible the week leading up to Saturday's Grand Opening to make a film to show what goes into a project like this. It should be up on our website soon (http://www.TheAdonisLounge.com) and give everyone a peek into the day to day challenges people never see or hear about. I don't just spend my days lounging around w/ dancing boys, I promise!!

 

In another installment of I COULDN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP, Marcus Mojo was not at Saturday's event as advertised. Lets just say that his Friday court date didn't go as planned and he wasn't physically able to contact me until today! He was actually very upset and disappointed, offering his apologies to Adonis and all the customers. Marcus Mojo appeared once before and I can honestly say that he is a class act, so there are no hard feelings. He actually insisted on coming to NYC and appearing very soon, on his own dime this time, as a show of good will. That works for us and we'll keep everyone in the loop!
