Is There a Gay Bar/Club in New York City with Pole Dancing?

I was asked about this by a friend in town...any

suggestions would be appreciated.

Spunk @ The Monster Bar in Greenwich Village has pole dancers twice a month at their parties.

 

A fun event. Nice space, private lap dance area in the back witrh screens for privacy. 20 dancers, a nice mix of new and a couple of familiar faces. Pole dancing, towel dancing and dancers who mix and mingle with the crowd. The crowd is a mix of gay men and straight women.

 

Usually held on Wednesday's around the 1st and the 15th of every month.

 

Hosted by Holly Dae, who runs around the room aggressively getting folks to drop dollars down the dancers underwear.
