I have just recieved one of my annual holiday treats.

Truffles and chocolates from La Maison Du Chocolates.

They are simply the finest freshest chocolates I have ever sampled.

They are VERRRRRYYY expensive-but worth every cent.

If you are in NYC they have a store there(the only store in the US)otherwise it is mail order(they have their own site)or you can order through Williams Sonoma(better customer service)

I smelled the truffles through all the packaging(vissions of a truffle hunting pig now spring to mind!)and I opened the box-ate one-and was reminded instantly of why these are worth $75 a pound!The flavor is so true,intense and wonderful that I enjoyed that one truffle for a 1/2 hour!
