Labor Day Weekend in Ft Lauderdale

Started at Boardwalk last night and stayed far later than I usually do. Some great eye candy even for us twink lovers. A porn actor is performing on stage (but pretty sure he's not doing private dances). I had never seen him but I'm a fan now. His name is Will Braun. Short cute buff nerd boy type. Boardwalk was pretty busy all night. Left briefly to go to Leboy. (Still not ok with that name.... I'd just rather still call it Johnnys.) It was DEAD. I knew when Sean started messing with the formula, customers would eventually bail. And they clearly have. Friday night on a holiday weekend and it's a ghost town at 11pm? Bad sign Sean. Get rid of those room fees and let the kids make some money. There were a few super hot boys who were new since my last visit a couple months back. But even with their dumb $5 coupon, if I'm going to help a dancer out by taking him back... like hell am I going to give half that money to Sean. Just charge a $10 cover if you have to. What made Johnny's unique and special was the no room fee hassle. Ever since they put it in place, I've yet to do a dance. If anything, I'll arrange to spend time with a guy I like outside the bar. He'll get all the cash and we won't have to cram into a disgusting cubicle hoping nobody opens the curtain.

We also spent the weekend in Ft. Lauderdale. While LeBoy (gawd I hate that name) is not as much fun as Johnny's, I will say it was better this trip. Usual beautiful men at Boardwalk. Did spend a bit of time with one of the dancers at Boardwalk in the back. Part Colombian, part Morrocan. We agreed on $25/song. I was told $20 house fee. All rooms had curtains. Might have overpaid just a bit, but if you encounter Julian, all I can say is wow ....

There were a lot of familiar faces at Boardwalk, but there are always a few rookies. Since I'm not into the beefy guys, BW is usually not for me. But with Will Braun and the rookies on the lineup this weekend, I was content. I didn't do any private dances. With all the house fees at both clubs, I just prefer to do an off site private hour at my hotel. One clown who was surely new tried to convince me he gets $80 a song lol.

 

LeBoy was pretty quiet again Saturday and Sunday night. For a holiday weekend, you'd think they'd be packed. There were some very cute guys but as I've ranted before, I hate the Swinging Richards level pricing. At Johnny's, I'd just offer the dancer $50 for 10-15 mins and never got a no. I hate counting songs. I'd show them the time on my phone as we entered. That way all is taken care of so there's no awkward post-dance misunderstanding. Now $50 would never cut it. If I'm going to pay $100 or more, it just doesn't make sense to me to cram into a cubby hole that probably rarely gets sanitized for 10 minutes vs. having a relaxing hour at a hotel in the jacuzzi, sauna and hotel room.

 

A former dancer (Casio, has a "Vengeance" tattoo across his lower abdomen) I had done a private dance with back at Johnny's was in street clothes. He says he quit because of the new system but was available for a massage. I remembered how terrible he was in the back so I politely declined. But anyway, lots of new faces at LeBoy this trip. I'd imagine the turnaround is pretty fast now - which I guess is a blessing in disguise.

Before leaving town, I drove down Broward to see what's become of Johnny's. It was sad. The signage on the building has mostly been removed. Just abandoned... not sign of anyone moving in. Found myself all nostalgic for how business was done there. Sure the building was crappy. The ventilation was non existent. The layout was weird. But all that stuff I'd gladly deal with if I could just have my fun on site again.

Nah as much as I don't like the new business model at LB, there were plenty of cute guys. Now if the Swinging Richards dancer look is more your thing, yeah, as always Johnnys/LB isn't for you. But there were probably 5 or 6 guys I would've taken for a private dance if things were the way they used to be. In the last year of Johnny's, that number was usually around 2-3 on a really good night.

I was in South Florida for a few days and visited both Boardwalk and Leboy. Friday I headed to Leboy - it was decently busy. A lot of the same dancers I've seen before but a few new athletic/muscle-y types (as opposed to the usual twinks). I did a lap dance in the back with Jackson, the shot boy. He's a very short, but very cute muscle-y former gymnast. Had a great time with him but was absolutely floored at the prices. $95 for 15 mins (for a small room with a curtain)!!! I think its a total rip off and that is for the house, then you can tip the dancer after. I rather pay the dancer than the house. Needless to say, it will probably be my last lap dance there.

 

I went to BW on Friday night and again last night (Wednesday). There were tons of dancers last night - don't think I've ever seen that many working at the same time. I'd say there was at least 25 guys. Some new, some regulars. Standouts were brothers Cody and Kyle, and Nick. All early 20s, tall athletic/muscle guys, straight. The 3 were also in LA and NYC at the Adonis venues a few months ago. All are incredibly attractive but my personal favorite is Cody.

Just returned from a six day Fort Lauderdale vacation and visited the Boardwalk most every night but did not visit Le Boy as I found what I was look for at the Boardwalk. The bar was full of great looking guys mostly jocks, muscle men and a few twinks with lots of Latin's. I had a great time, the bar had good energy a fun vibe and I stayed until last call three nights in a row and I wasn't drinking. The back VIP booths are now $20 per visit after 8 PM and $10 before 8 PM every night of the week, you or the dancer pay on the way out. The booths have curtains and Anthony is still in the back room collecting the house fees, I tipped him every time I went into the back had no problems and he didn't bother anyone in the booths that I saw although he can be loud and quite dramatic. I'm always specific with the dancer as to what I expect and what I will pay and find this works best as 4 out of 5 are agreeable and its off to the skanky little booth in the back. Over the nights I was in the bar I had dances with Luis (Dominican with a thick tool), Kareem (tall, buff Mexican boy with glasses), Raul (Moroccan/Italian also very thick), Brighton (tall, buff American boy), Yasser (very cute buff Cuban), Willie (tall Puerto Rican), Sebastian (tall Romanian with a big chest) and Mateo (Very handsome, buff Brazilian) all handsome, hung, in great shape and a lot of fun in the back and all delivered what they promised. If in Fort Lauderdale and you like to watch, hang with and interact with hot guys the Boardwalk is the place to be.

 

I would also recommend staying in one of the clothing optional gay guest houses by the beach my favorite is the Worthington on N. Birch. I have met and made friends with many guys and had several fun encounters there this past weekend.

Yes Anthony is the same dude, there was not a new hall monitor when I was there. My suggestion is to be nice to Anthony and tip him a few $ when you go in the back with your favorite dancer.
