I thought a lot before replying to this post, but finally I am going to do it.

For a long time I was wondering what kind of generous person would create such a clever website to support escorts and their hard unrewarded profession...

I was a little ashamed - and, yes, I am in a position, unfortunately, to take it personally (ie. I haven't contributed financially for several months) - that out of the thousand (at least, I have no memory for numbers) that it cost to get this every day gotta have message board back up for us, he only got $100 in contributions to cover it. Hmmm...I also appreciate HooBoy's hard work but I never think about reviews when I meet a client (actually, I never think about them at all). It's important to me that my client feel comfortable (especially if he's new to clienting or being with a man), turned on, satisfied, etc., and I also make sure that I feel the same way. This is true for Derek, too, since most of what we do is duo work. But I can't imagine thinking about reviews when I'm with a client, or having the fear of a bad review be the impetus for my good performance. That would be like an actor worrying about the critics, instead of being in the moment. But if it works for you (and for your clients), that's all that counts.

I totally agree. Hooboy really works hard to maintain this site for anyone to have access to. I would hate to imagine how many out there complained to Hooboy about the site being shut down for maintenance. Patience can be a particular virtue. Onto more pressing matters: With the grand total of $100 coming into male4malescorts when it was truly needed, i think we (as a web-community) need to reevaluate our true attachment to this FREE site. Remember that bandwidth, time, trouble and technology cost money. HB asked us for our help and IMO, we failed him.

 

As an escort reviewed here, i have made a great deal of money from the generosity & popularity of this site. For guys on the other side of things (ie, 'clients'), this site has been a constant flow of info on who's the best out there and who's simply a rip-off, while maintaining a great message center for all sorts of info and discussions. That being said, remember that you can only take something for granted for so long before things change. It's the nature of the beast. If you can, give to HB whenever possible. I do and honestly, would expect ANY escort (and otherwise) to do so as well.

 

This site is the best out there for this given industry. If we want it to remain the best, let's offer more support. I'm not asking you guys to dole out $1,000 each. Donate what you can. It's the simple act itself that shows you believe in this site and appreciate the work that HB, Daddy and the rest of the crew do everyday.
