No show clients? Do you post their numbers online to warn other escorts?

There's a difference between using a megaphone and keeping a directory for other verified escorts to utilize.

There are a few lists that are shared around amongst working guys and we do talk to one another about potential clients that should be avoided.

What about the opposite? Do Pros ever make recommendations about clients? I mean if you met a client and thought they would really hit it off with another pro you know and they are a classy client would you make a recommendation?

I'd think an escort would think twice before posting a client's information on a public website. What if the client had a good reason or there was an honest communication breakdown? My guess is that there are plenty of clients who would use this forum to actively warn others away from escorts like this.

I think publicly posting any personal information...including the telephone number...of a client is unacceptable and potentially disastrous for the escort.

I'm sorry he got burned...but I'd be too afraid that I might somehow inadvertently piss him off....

and knowing that public disclosure of my private information is considered to be an acceptable form of retaliation....

I would just avoid him....no matter how tempted I may be.

Escorts privately comparing notes?....I have no problem with it...and you're a fool if you don't think they do it....just like we do!

I would say that publicly sharing client information is outrageous. A private scheme to exchange information between escorts is a great idea, even if it is only about negative impressions. Escorts need to know if potential clients are nutters or not!

I can certainly see why escorts may find it advantageous to share information with each other, but it probably requires a level of trust between competitors that may limit the benefits. I am thinking here about some of the stories of local escorts calling visiting escorts to make fake appointments and discourage them from making a return visit. I would also hope that appropriate and professional discretion would be used about people’s personal information. For example, it seems like a no-brainer to warn others about a crazy or violent client. At the other extreme, gossiping about physical characteristics or someone’s intimate preferences would seem to be out of bounds.

Interesting thing happened a while back.... I heard via a PM on this forum something about myself from another client.

It was an innocuous little factoid - nothing particularly interesting - but something I'd mentioned to only one companion... someone who my forum-client-friend who had never met.

Hmm- bemused but noted nonetheless.

I think that discretion is like air - you don't really appreciate it until you're not getting it.
