I really don't know about the face picture thing. We see time and time again on ad after ad that the person is using someone else's pictures who is not even an escort in the first place(i.e. lifted from social media). Are all of these people who have images of them posted who aren't even escorts going to forever be excluded from holding public office as well? Who's to say there isn't some jackass using your face pic on their escort ad right now??

 

The answer is, do what you feel comfortable doing and don't be ruled or controlled by fear or what ifs. Maybe think twice or three times before sending out nude images with your face visible.

Let's not forget that the choice of not posting one's face picture doesn't always have to do with fear of repercussions. That being said, your response sounds a bit cavalier. In order to exemplify what I mean, I am going to apply your response to a different subject. It is almost as if you were saying: If you want to have anal sex with men, you might contract HIV so if you want to have anal sex with men, stop using condoms... be ready to take those risks. (All of them, at the same time.)

 

We are all aware of the pros and cons. And at the same time, just because we choose to engage in activities that have some risks (which activity doesn't?) doesn't mean that I have to take ALL risks indiscriminately. I choose which risks I am comfortable with and which ones I am not.

In terms of "safely" sharing a pic, there is no "safe" way to do it. Once the pic is out of your hands, it is up to the recipient to do with it as he pleases.

That's a good point. However, in order for that to work both the escort and the client would need to have snapchat. We have Forum members who don't want to text. They probably won't want to download snapchat to receive a picture.

After reading your comments and doing some additional research I have decided to keep my facial features private. To take the decision I gauged the fact that while it may hinder the abundance of business, it is not absolutely necessary to perform well. Also took into account my future plans which include finishing graduate education and teaching at university level. I would prefer to live in a world were paid sex is a non-challenging topic, but reality sets in; and I'm certainly not ready for the consequences of public shaming.
