Just wanted to know if anyone had any reviews of this event - good times to show up, general impressions, etc.

I always have a good time there. The doors open at 9, the show starts at 10, but Sunday's are usually a tamer night compared to other nights, so anytime after 10 would be great for you to arrive. Dancers still trickle in through 11:30 or later sometimes.
