There were 2 or 3 clients at the Adonis Lounge private event that night who fit this description, so I didn't want to come over and ask if they were you. In hindsight, and looking at your handle, I probably could have limited the field by looking for a 30-something aged guy. Oh well, opportunity lost, but there's always next time. Hope you had a good time!

this last LA nude party was my first in LA and I went alone.....seemed many/most people were there alone, but I think there are a lot of regulars/locals and some were able to chat up others they knew from earlier events......definitely not awkward to be there alone - just wander around, find a chair and watch the goings-on, chat up another single, go get a Coke (no alcohol sold, but you can BYOB), get a lapdance from somebody who appeals, what-have-you......the regular entertainers also notice the regular$ from earlier partie$ and will run over to $ay "hi"

I finally met George last month when I was in L.A., and had a nice lap dance with him. He is absolutely adorable, but he's kind of shy, which I find strange for someone so good looking. I have attended only one L.A. Adonis nude party. The eye candy in attendance was absolutely outstanding. My problem is that lap dances do absolutely NOTHING for me so that part of the experience did not appeal to me. I attempted to set up a couple of off site escort/client get togethers but didn't have any luck. I get the feeling that for that to work one would have to become a regular who became known to the prospective guy you wanted to hire. Because of the fact that I live in North Orange County and the Nude Party's are held way out in the San Fernando Valley regular attendance, for me, is something of a pain in the ass. The evening I attended many of the guys attending appeared to be regulars who were know to the dancers. I was with a friend but there certainly wouldn't have been a problem had I gone stag.

I've been to a handful of Adonis LA all nude parties and there is a wide range of patrons - 20s-70s, all ethnicities, duos, singles, small groups etc. Tends to be on the quieter side initially but I've found it relatively easy to chat up the other patrons as the night progresses.

The distance between the two venues will probably run you somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 +tip.

I just meant Adonis Lounge in LA in general, not for the private all-nude parties. But I'll assume its the same. Currently planning a trip to LA. And, I haven't been to Palm Springs since 1995.... didn't care for it then, but I'm probably the only Bay Area gay over 50 who doesn't go there regularly; so worth another look.

Several members of my extended family have moved to Ventura County... so any trip soon would probably be autumn to either one side or other of Hills

 

Im in SF East Bay, <30 miles from ocean, but its 98 here today, frequently exceeds 100°. I know better than to head to PS this time of year... out of frying pan into fire wont happen

 

My LA experiences include 1980s as a tourist, a 90s try at enjoying WeHo, and adding a weekend onto a 2005 business trip. Ive never really enjoyed it...

Please don't be. As other have stated, it's a fairly mixed crowd. For better and for worse as far as the size of Fubar's (the bar that hosts Adonis on Wednesday and Sunday nights) customer draw, we're not further west near SaMo & San Vicente (where other popular spots like Rage and Mickey's are). Fubar is further east (at Crescent Heights). I think the bar traffic may skew more "diverse." (And personally, I prefer approaching guys who come stag versus approaching gaggles. Approach three guys for dances and often it devolves into "I don't want want one but (pointing to friend) he does." Or someone wants one but doesn't wanna go for it 'in front' of their friends.)
