for those not quite familiar with the Adonis nude parties....

there is a usually-monthly one in LA at a private house (usually in the valley).....you must be on the LA Adonis mailing list to be admitted....$50 admission, no alcohol served (BYOB) but sodas/water for sale, very casual atmosphere, lap dances and VIP private areas available for the usual extra fee....register your email address at upper right under "contact" here:

there are now usually two monthly nude parties in NYC, one at Paddles club and the other at a private apartment (I think).....you do NOT need to be on a mailing list to be admitted (unlike LA), but it very much helps so you can get information on where to go and when!!.....as in LA, similar admission fee and alcohol prohibition...Paddles has not-so-private lapdance areas, but no VIP private areas.....I've never been to the "pop-up" party, so can't comment on the logistics for there....sign up for NYC emails at the upper right under "contact" here:

I happened to be in NYC for another event this weekend and strongly considered going to the one there this weekend. The line up seemed to be fairly varied which is nice. But in the end I was too tuckered out...and the $50 entrance which seems certainly reasonable for this sort of thing held me back regardless.

Not great, Chidude. A lot of the listed dancers flaked. Bad 90s music. Everyone standing around, as usual, but a lot fewer customers. I think patrons have given up... I heard the same about the NYC one. Something's just off now...

That's sad to hear @parumph. Hopefully attendance and the vibe in general will rebound.

It's also the middle of the summer. Lots of folks in LA, and especially NYC, tend to go away for the weekend, or spend much of their disposable income on yearly summer vacations, so you should expect lower attendance from clients in particular. It doesn't surprise me that some dancers would take note of that, and appear less regularly during this time. I'm sure attendance on both ends will rebound in the fall. The silver lining for clients is that there should be far less competition to get your favorite dancers' attention! ;-)

I was at the NYC one from like 8-10. There were more dancers than patrons during most of that time, so I ended up blowing through my budget(which was lower than normal because it was a spur-of-the-moment decision to go) faster than planned. Then I left the building just as a a dancer I'd seen at the last one was coming in and he was bummed to be missing me.

But yeah many NYC people go away every summer weekend so the summer parties are less well attended with the exception of Pride.

8 to 10 is kind of early. Most of the people usually show up around 11 pm.

I know. I prefer to catch the dancers early rather than later. By late in the night they tend to be sweatier and have other guys' scents on them and for me that's less appealing. Also easier to get home before mass transit switches to late-night schedule etc.

Keep in mind there used to just be one a month and I think it's only fairly recently that the pop-up has been an every-month thing. They're also only one week apart.

Then why the F@&$ do they OPEN so early?!?! They don't sell DRINKS!!! I was there 8:45-11, and not one of the maybe 5 advertised guys I wanted to see showed up. And they had the nerve to tell me on the way out that I was too early. Showing up 45 minutes after it opens and staying for 2.25 hours should be enough time for ONE hot guy to show up!!!

My guess is a lot of those guys are escorting and also looking for someone to take home/take them home at the end of the evening as opposed to making most of their money from the lapdances. Wouldn't surprise me if their regulars see the email and hit them up for a dinner date that day.

It's hard to balance, especially in a fairly confined space.
